So it would still be 0-0 today if McCarthy was in goal. Forster's passing may be better than McCarthy's but it's still poor. Neither should be regular starters in the league.
-
We've been good since Fraser Flapster gifted them a goal. Adams should have scored, could have had a penalty. I'd really like to see Armstrong on for Diallo.
-
Remember when everyone said how good Forster was? Well they were wrong. He's absolute shit.

Just gone 3-2 down away at Arsenal with about 15 minutes to go. Came back from being 2-0 down after 7 minutes to mate it 2-2 but just let one in. Both Saints goals from Jimmy Morgan.

Will be a great time for the local non-league clubs to get a few more through their gates. Cheap tickets, a pint by the pitch and no players rolling around on the floor trying to con the ref.

Going by FIFA rankings Group B is the hardest which is a surprise. Iran rank above Morocco, Serbia, Poland and Japan. How many Saints connections can we expect? Current players limited to: England - Maybe JWP or KWP Poland - Bednarek Scotland (?) - Adams & Armstrong Ex-players: England - Shaw Denmark - Vestergaard Senegal - Mane Japan - Yoshida Netherlands - Van Dijk Serbia - Tadic Wales (?) - Bale Portugal - Fonte and Cedric? Not sure if they still get picked Uruguay - Does Ramirez still play? Any others??

We were going to head to the Northern Monk bar if that's any use to anyone. Some Leeds friends were going to meet us there so it must allow away fans or they were setting us up for a beating.

Sorry, been busy all day. Not really sure what options there are now if you aren't local.

The blanket 60mph limit on M27 is because they still haven't signed off the lane warning system. It's due to go soon though I think. And then it won't be long until there's more roadworks and closures on the M27 for resurfacing.

Or on emails between people that spend all day working from home. Unless it's a "stay safe don't trip over and fall down the stairs" message rather than covid related.

Think I saw Sarmiento's only game which was away at Torquay in the cup. I have zero recollection of Mettomo. Did he even play? Seem to remember Saeijs was alright. Licka too, didn't he have a really fit girlfriend? Pele was still knocking around training kids with Benali at the MLT Academy when my son went about 5 or 6 years ago.

Anyone need tickets? We can't go now. 1 x adult and 2 x U18. Happy to just sell the adult one if needed.

Bednarek and Poland through to the World Cup after beating Sweden 2-0.

It looks more positive to me than I expected, especially wages to turnover improving a great deal. Compared to a lot of other clubs our debt is tiny. To think, we could sell Ward Prowse and pay off a massive chunk of it in one go (I know that's not how it works, but goes to show it actually isn't that bad)

Like others, I've never seen us win there, and am going again on Saturday. Mostly I remember it being a miserable experience. Hopefully not this time.

Nothing happened to him. He was on the bench for England U17's yesterday. Olaigbe has been playing for U23's consistently and is probably our stand out player. He was just in the Belgian U19 squad and came on as sub in their 2 games.

The cricket is a fucking shambles.

5-2 down on 63 minutes after a Dover player had just scored a 12 minute hat trick. Would have loved to have been at that game. In League 1 results went against Pompey. Ipswich beat Plymouth and Sheff Wed had a comfortable win.

Imagine being a Wrexham fan today. What an incredible game.
-
Paul Scholes was an incredible player. Not flash or eye catching like some of the others mentioned but, along with Keane, the best player Man Utd had when they were winning everything. Criminally misused by England which is probably why he often gets left out of these types of discussion.

The Bet Victor advert with Harry Redknapp. Fuck me.

Very happy for him, what a great bloke. Talking of Yoshida, I saw this pop up on Instagram yesterday. https://www.instagram.com/tv/CbYG4vUqtaU/?utm_medium=copy_link

And the late Higginbotham equaliser at Selhurst where I wrecked my shins celebrating and then had the euphoria sucked out of me in a pub near London Bridge watching West Brom inexplicably beat Man Utd.

It was definitely Everton.
