Tella at CB, haha.

I've seen the phrase statement signing mentioned a few times, well to me Henderson would be just that. I know he's not as exciting as an attacking midfielder but he is an excellent keeper who would be a fantastic addition in the position we are weakest in. No idea what his wages are like though, can only presume they'd be too high seeing as he's at Man Utd.

Oh when the Saints, outperform xG, oh when the Saints outperform xG, I wanna be in that number, oh when the Saints outperform xG.
-
Can you get some stats based chants going at games soon? "Ohh Hojbjerg is a wanker, his pass completion's crap, and when we analyse his carries per game he looks a fucking twat."
-
So for the most hated XI we have: Pickford Digne (new entry for studding KWP and then moaning about the red card) Michael Keene Maguire Matt Ritchie out of position at RB Mark Noble Shelvey (remember him massively over celebrating a goal for Liverpool U23's at St Mary's) Fernandez Zaha Vardy Kane Subs: Maupay, Ashley Barnes, Grealish. Pretty good team if not slightly pedestrian in midfield.
-
I'm very excited by his involvement and the fact that Semmens and Crocker will be staying. All seems like a perfect fit.
-
What it they replace it with "We are Southampton. We outperform our xG"
-
If we're working on the basis of one in one out then this definitely means we are signing Dean Henderson.
-
That's him. Was a right bellend.
-
They are the worst. Seem to remember they had a massive twat in their team when we were in League 1? Some midfielder who ran around kicking people then moaning when he was on the end of a strong tackle. Cant remember his name though.

Maybe Potter will do what Pochettino did and get a job at a Spurs type club and then make the step up to the top level. He's still a relatively young manager so has plenty of time on his side.
-
Linking this with the annoying players thread I can only presume it was Vardy or Maddison that Gerwyn Price was asking to be kicked out the crowd for being a prick.
-
Poor bloke. Maybe Djenepo then. Or is he injured again?
-
They're lower mid table and lost their last 3 matches.
-
I forgot about the competition specific rules and thought he was out for this game, so yeah he will play.
-
Another shout for Vardy and Barnes. Also for Kane who gets more annoying as time goes on. As does Richarlison. Really don't like Jordan Henderson for some reason. Might be more to do with the media collectively rimming him every time he makes a 50 yard pass or trots across midfield to make a tackle. Grealish strikes me as a bit of a twat. So is Pickford with his prancing around the box making saves look more difficult than they need to be because he's out of position and then shouting indiscriminately at defenders even when they haven't done much wrong. I don't like Maguire. Plus Ronaldo with his petulant arm throwing because one of his inferior teammates hasn't run around 3 players and set him up with a tap in.

Gutted we can't go to this. Reckon we could see something like this team although I'd be tempted to give Small a run out at left back. McCarthy, Livramento, Stephens, Lyanco, Perraud, Smallbone, Diallo, Ward Prowse, Redmond, Adam Armstrong, Adams.

Haha, funny. Strange to see Arsenal fans showing so much passion though. That corner was covered in stuff thrown at Rodri after the goal.
-
That was a particularly amusing few minutes of football there. Martinelli's miss was hilarious.

If you supported a Championship club you'd be praying Newcastle stay up. No way would you be wanting to put up with their gloating, arrogant fans next season while they cruise to the title by 20 points.
-
There's a few annoying Brighton fans around, fortunately the ones I know are alright and mostly seem to have forgotten the silly League One rivalry stuff now. Calling us "Stains" is incredibly lame, they need to grow up and concentrate on their proper rivalry seeing as they play them every season now.
-
Sholing v Totton off due to waterlogged pitch. That's a proper reason for a game to go, none of this "5 players have got a cold" nonsense.
-
I don't dislike Man City as much as some of the other top clubs. Liverpool are my least favourite followed by Man Utd and Chelsea. Don't mind similar size clubs to us like Palace, Brighton, Norwich, Watford. Really don't like Spurs, West Ham, Everton and now Newcastle. The rest all fall somewhere in between.

His kicks were barely making it over halfway and from the one he did kick straight we won possession.
-
We're one of only 4 teams not to lose against them in the league. Well done us.
