Thought we were comfortable all game, even when they had a lot of possession in the last 20 minutes or so they didn't do much with it. Stekelenberg had little to do. So good to have Bertrand back because he adds an extra layer of professionalism to the defence. Very encouraging that he seemed to comfortably last 90 minutes because he'll need to be on the top of his game next weekend.

Same goes for those who were calling for Lambert to come back. He was very ordinary against us a couple of weeks ago and wouldn't be anything other than a bench warmer for us with the odd 5 minute cameo.

Eastleigh do a version of that which tells you all you need to know.

That's not a bad shout to be fair. It ups our quota of anti Pompey songs while also mentioning Koeman.

No idea. I'm at the other end of St Mary's. I'm on a mission to educate the kids in the Family Stand in how to support the team when they are older so we don't have cretins like this chap embarrassing us.

I bet you've got a picture of that fit copper too.

Only 7% of face to face communication is made through the actual words. Approximately one third is the way they are spoken and another 60% is body language. Which is why when you call someone a **** on the internet they can get all uptight about it. Anyway, back to the game. My prediction is an entertaining draw.

Whatever happens I hope the Mars bar chant gets another outing. This could just be the new song we've been crying out for.

Oh and wacky hat twat was quiet in the away end in Denmark because he was absolutely plastered by 5pm and started drinking water in an attempt to sober up enough to get to the game. Sadly he did.

A cross between jogging bottoms and leggins. No, I don't.

Everywhere he goes, people want to know who the **** is in the stupid ****ing hat.

He's so embarrassed by the mars bar chant last night he's not leaving the house for 72 hours, this missing training and ruling himself out of selection for Saturday.

See the post match thread.

We don't have any touting problems at all with away fans. Any Saints fan who really wants a ticket can easily get one - they never sell out that quick even though since League 1 we have been travelling away in bigger numbers than we ever have. Occasionally we have a slight problem where the club only takes the small allocation (ie Chelsea) when we would probably have sold out the larger one and tickets become harder to get but that's quite rare. Our tourists are generally limited to home games. In the last couple of seasons most of these have been Dutch fans coming to see ex players and Koeman. We do get the odd chump with a selfie stick outside the ground but nowhere near the extent of the bigger clubs.

Post-Match Reaction: MK Dons 0-6 SAINTS - Capital One Cup - Round 3

I was in the lower tier but I guess it was being passed around and people were putting it on their head while others chanted. Barnsley did it with a plant pot when getting hammered at Rochdale last month which is funnier because they did it first and it was a plant pot. -

Gaston was good. Picked out some nice passes, worked hard enough, kept his position. I guess he did exactly what Koeman wanted which is what he has to do if he wants more game time. Still, it's like a number 5 batsman coming in on a docile wicket when you're 400/3. Expected to score a bunch of runs so gets little praise when he does. Who has got the Mars bar on their head now? Is the Erwin/Ronald Koeman song less embarrassing than the Steven/Kelvin Davis version? Is it highly lame to have a song with the same tune for 2 players, especially when one replaces the other and it segues together? -

They don't have a history! Noddy club, noddy fans. Can't stand them so very glad we dished out a hammering. The gulf in class so was ridiculous it was embarrassing at times. They didn't have a clue of how to deal with our pace and movement. Just going to add to the grumbles about the A34 diversions. There must have been a quicker way than the route the diversion took us. -
What's the need for more hospitality space when we don't ever sell out what we already have?

The only thing I took from this utterly worthwhile video is that Allen's either been away or slapping on the fake tan. People may look in the background and wonder why no one appears to work at the News, but the truth is they were all down Southsea with the other 250k fans watching an open top bus parade to mark Conor Chaplin's new contract. http://www.portsmouth.co.uk/sport/pompey/pompey-video-neil-allen-on-conor-chaplin-s-new-contract-1-6970238

Not as Saints fans, but plenty of us go to non league games as well. And while some games can be dire there's still plenty of decent football at all levels. Although I can't remember ever seeing a corner that bad - even in the Wessex League.
-
Stekelenberg vaguely waved his hand in the air. Whether this was an appeal for offside or he was just practising his normal action for when the ball is heading towards the goal is unclear.
-
Anyone had their tickets through? Just realised mine haven't arrived yet and seeing as I sold a kidney and one of my children into slavery to afford them I'd quite like to know if they should have turned up by now.

There's a pub called The Inn On The Lake which doesn't look that far to walk. It's to the east of the ground, unsurprisingly next to a lake.

It'll be rammed in the away concourse on Wednesday, just like this from yesterday
