Funny how opinions differ, everytime butterfield recieved the ball in the first half he had 25 yards of fresh air to run into, chambo hasnt missed a game on the right this season - why today.?
-
Perfect result we had a tickle at beating the Premiership leaders, we showed millions at home we are a class team, we can now concentrate on the league, and my man of the match goes to Nigel Atkins for playing Oxlade out of position for the whole match to convince Fergy and others that he's not worth 10mil quid at least till the end of the season anyway. Result. But very proud.

It official then, now Puncheon's gone Guly's the new whipping boy. Suck the confidence out of them till they move on and shine for someone else. Like i said to my 8 year old who seemed to get it. He's not a striker. Ive seen Barnard miss chance after chance and he's called unlucky, Gulys had a bad game in front of goal and he's useless.

I have heard Mark Dennis a few times on Talksport and i while he's is entitled to his opinion i dont think he is the best person to represent what is happening within our club.
-
Pancake, i take it your suggesting that this a regular occurance? apologies if already posted but i have been out the country for the last 3 weeks.
-
Did anyone else notice in the League 1 round-up section, the league tables shows us listed as ''South Coast Team''. !!
-
These predictions never work out, because thats what great about football, if my predictions had worked out we'd still be in the Premiership and the championship. The unknown is form, unfortunately the 2 in 2 from Charlton takes them out the game. All we can do is keep winning and pile on the pressure and what will be will be. A month ago i thought if we got to the play-off we'd win them Now!! Both Millwall and Swindon are looking strong and Leeds know all about big games this season. It wont stop me thinking they cant do it until they cant.
-
Lets face it we missed Mexican Waves when they were in fashion, and it was a bit of fun.
-
yes we can, all those above will drop points, Leeds are out of reach but something like 3 wins in twelve for them and my favourites to bomb Charlton. The pressure is on all of them to stay in the top six. With the chasing pack closing in. Hudderfield / MK Dons / Bristol Rover all went our way today. We can do it heart and head.
-
if thats the case i'll turn my hearing aid up. As long as the bloke behind me puts his crisps away.
-
Did i miss something or was he being boo'd when he came on. What was all that about?
-
Dont laugh he probably paid good money for that.
-
Anyone else think we may have to make do with a bye in to the next round?
-
Is it a SELL OUT? picked up my tickets at 9 this morning, they couldnt put myself and my 7 year old together and only 800 tickets left. Should make for a cracking atmosphere. 3-1 win
-
when did we last have a manager that spoke like that? he really is thriving on what this group of players are achieving. Very impressed with A.P.

If you read the full story in the current bun today you will see what a pointless thread this is, he cant shoot with left foot only pass, he cant jump on this left foot and by his own words its rendered himself ineffective. His ankle grind and makes a noise when he walks. Very sad story from a genuinely nice guy. Also a very good interview with a former hammer Danny Williamson on Talksport yesterday who retired at 25 after a 5mill pound move to Everton. If you look through the top 4 teams in the premiership today, you will see the best part of 20 top class first teamers missing, are fans getting value for money? are there too many league games / champions league game / etc.? They are the pampered few but one bad tackle and its over.
-
are you a closet charlton fan with issues? We were crap today and a massive disappointment but what you have posted is pathetic, go back and crawl under your stone you muppet. If you want a big drama watch x-factor your just catch it.
-
Good post, not a lot i can add to that.

Ex-presenter of Fifth Gear !! - its just been binned, maybe he's got some spare time and is enjoying this ride. Definately in Top Gear at the moment.
-
Interesting that he's been added to this list as Rupert Murdoch employ him through Sky TV. May explain his short absense from the screen recently. Who ever added this to the list is an idiot the same as the person who decided it might sell a few books. MLS is a legend but just shame he has tainted his memory so soon after the Pinnacle nonsense.
-
Just look at all the teams above us and there goal difference, right up to mid table they are all in the minus. That tells its own story, once this team beds in and these draws turn to wins we should start to get a bit of momentum going.
-
funny but i thought when he come on he did get in amongst the Brentford back 4, and at least we showed a bit more pressure in there box, where as i thought Patterson was woeful. Opinions!!
-
A pointless nonsense debate, on a pointless nonsense thread. New owners in town, new manager at the helm, hopefully new signings on the way. all exciting stuff. The only thing that worrys me about the future, are those that support this near extinct club that cant leave the past. Move on guys its a new dawn, its a new day and we should be feelin good.

A few rose tinted glass on here me thinks, i liked DJ and have always followed his path through his various clubs he came in at the right time and did a very good job but there is no denying we were sliding towards relagation that season before Hoddle stepped into the breach. I look forward to reading the book. I think Lowe did the right thing but not necesarily the right way.
-
No, the fans chose not to re-appoint mr hoddle. Why else after our fresh start would we welcome another issue that will ultimately divide support for this club.
