Surely there are players out there that are good enough that want to be apart of our squad with the understanding that they might not be part of the starting 11. Losing Lallana and Oxlade is a red herring in terms of play, we have been poor of late with them. However their loss is pertinent in highlighting our shallow squad. Those post are people's opinion and are just as justified as yours. You can only beat it with reasoned arguments not personal attacks. What is the reasoned argument for Southampton playing so poorly of late.

It's not the draw that's bad it's our style of play. Make no mistake Charlton were very poor last time and if we played with a bit more composure and skill we would have walked that game. But instead we didn't take control and left us hanging on in the end. Its not helped by having no depth on the bench. Anyone saying get over it are missing the point, yeah the result on face value is fine but our play was not that of a team that is going to smash into the promotion positions.

For me the biggest disappointment is our style of play, we are hoofing it long far too much. Defensively we look solid and were only caught short a couple of times, however the midfield had a big hole in it at times but I suppose that is caused by us playing long too often. Nguessan looked poor on the basics but some crosses were good and he took his goal well, people were very supportive around me.

We were shocking tonight, the lack of depth on the bench is poor. The style of play was awful, we couldn't keep the ball and just resorted go playing it long. Charlton were very poor and to not capitalise is shocking. NA wants to get back to the training pitch and sort it out and NC should be on the phone from now until the end of play on Thursday to fill the big hole Lallana and Ox will leave. NGuessian isn't good enough at the moment and didn't see enough of Forte to tell. Shame it was all set up for a good night and we let ourselves down with our poor style. Still time yet to get it right.

Would have preferred the draw, but a MK win is brilliant, beat Charlton today and we get over that dotted line.
