  1. It was loud and I left thinking we might just get away with it again.
  2. Like Southampton Plymouth was bombed heavily during the war. For every good/**** area Southampton has Plymouth has one to match.
  3. I can't stand up ref, not yet I've got a stonking erection, its the nylon rubbing against my bellend that does it everytime I go on a long run, ahhh thats better its gone.
  4. Thank you RL for the half ton.
  5. No the manager shouldn't boo or jeer his players either not good for team morale, look what happened to Phil Brown at Hull.
  6. Absolute disgrace no place for it in football, nip it in the bud now and stop singing about the chairman. Booing N'G is pretty low too. I thought now we were down in Div 3 we were down to the best hardcore set of fans, seems to me SMS needs a few more of us fair weather fans and plastics to turn up.
  7. Brighton flying 4 up
  8. Brighton 3 up now
  9. booooooooooooooo
  10. No this is the pattern; Story slating Cortese. Period of slagging him off and slagging MLT, LM, dark forces etc for trying to destabilise the club. They all keeps quiet. Truth comes out and the forum numpties get shown up for what they are.
  11. Great player, not appreciated by a section of fans.
  12. They may have a few ****s but so do we, in the main they are a good set of fans.
  13. In think you are queening it up a bit. The stuff MLT had said is harbly foundation shattering stuff, its mild snipes that have no effect on anything apart from tickling the root of people on here. I would have thought NC shoulders would be broad enough to to carry this crap, its a mild irritation at most not destabilising and not dark forces. Personally I think every one needs to calm down. We are in good hands and the view from the bus is fine.
  14. That should increase the value of the club, if they put in gold taps we will know for certain that NC is talking to Arab buyers
  15. So without access to the details of the source you fall back on your own prejudices.
  16. I know most people want Cortese to be successful with SFC but it doesn't mean it always has to be 'Cortese Good Disagreers Bad'. Whatever you think of Lawrie or Le Tissier they are entitled to their opinion. Personally I believe because of what they have done for the club they both desearve a bit more respect. Before Cortese there was 123 years of history and there will be hundreds of years after he has gone, so he might pull the strings now but he is merely a tempoary guardian of the club. The club is financially owned by Markus Liebherrs daughter but is spiritually owned by the fans.
  17. I see the muppets on here foaming at the mouth over Lawrie Mac because of a rumour he may have started a rumour, *****s the lot of them.
  18. Indeed Plymouth are a club from the largest urban area (in pop) not to play in the top flight. In my opinion the quicker a team made it to the top division the bigger the club became and the more successful. Plymouth, like Southampton, were denied entry to the Football League because the only southern clubs the Football League was interested in were London clubs. When the Third Division was finally formed the powers that be sought to protect the original, mainly northern, clubs by having a one up one down system. Plymouth were 2nd for six years on the trot in the twenties. With better equity who knows how different the Plymouth story would be and ours for that matter. Southampton were arguably the strongest team in the Southern League in the naughties and was overlooked by the FL yet Chelsea a club only formed in 1905 was invited to join a few years later. Plymouth is my dads side and I went to every round of the 1984 cup run apart from the semi, each round I thought we would meet each other and if it wasn't for Heath (spit) and Reilly it would have been a FA Cup Final to remember.
  19. Brilliant result after Saturdays heavy shift. Well done Lambert. We have now won the most away games in our division.
  20. Maybe that's why the mods were deleting posts earlier, to keep this place from stopping altogether.
  21. Its slow again.
  22. So why are you challenging people who thinks it a shame.
  23. So let me get this right, despite our club nearly going pop and all the pain that caused you are OK with it happening to another set of fans because you, without knowing all the facts, think Plymouth made one mistake. Then you fail to understand why people think its sad despite your brilliant post 11. I reckon you want them to go out of business so you can get excited over the re-calibration of the table. Strange man.
