I don't see why people consider any purchases now as a panic buys of a reaction to the County game, we have asperations to become a competitive Championship side so between now and then this team needs to morph into that. Lawrie Mac said that he built 5 sides between being a second division side and a competitive div 1 team and thats what we have to do again. So why not a controlled transformation of the team, the great sides do it, so I do not see why people are so adverse to bringing in players that will strengthen the team. It's just romanticism to want the starting squad to remain unchanged all season.
