Totally agree. Too many decent young men are being killed for nothing. In a thousand years time when the World has discovered a better way of sorting things out, our time will be lumped together with the last few thousand years and looked upon as the dark ages where dumb politicians send their young to die for nothing, we haven't learnt anything. Schemes like this just seek to legitimise the failed actions of bullish know-nothing politicians.

I disagree with the premise that the expectation would have been higher at Man City or Bristol than Reading or Palace. Man City had finished in the bottom 6 in the previous two seasons and Reading were in a higher position that Bristol when he took over at each club. It seems that if it doesn't feel right for SC he goes, in my opinion that's honest, he doesn't hang about looking to be paid off he just ups and leave. He's let people down at BC and probably did at MC but he's left early enough for the damage to be repairable. For what he did at Reading means that I would have loved him to get our job.

Thats doesn't prove that we drink more than anyone else, it just proves that for our final more was drunk at those two establishments (out of hundreds in London), where as at other finals other pubs may have been busier and maybe more was drunk at these pubs. An answer to your stats could be that as it was our first time at Wembley for 34 years people would be unsure of straying too far from the ground hence big takings at two pubs near the ground. Other finals with your Chelsea's and your Man U's and fans may avoid drinking so close to the ground and get into other routines, this may be true or not neither you or I really know. Do you have any more evidence. I would guess that the difference between to 5th and 95th percentile per head is very marginal and we are probably in there somewhere.
