For some this is just another stick to bash the BBC with. Brexit, partygate, coronavirus, this; ITV take the same position (or in the case of partygate a more anti-government position) but are not criticised at all, now that's double standards.
-
No double standrds in your little scenario, becaue the BBC don't call anyone terrorists. Or did you really think it was just Hamas they wouldn't call it.
-
By saying it a lot, they clearly see it as a stratergy for seats where they are second to the tories, enabling Labour voters to tactically vote for them.
-
Ha, I haven't seen it, glad Thatcher is in it, JS was her solider in chief afterall.

I can quite believe it, the posh boys fucked them over last time. They are also probably reading the room. I still don't think it was a mistake last time, but they could have negotiated a better position. They appeared to be too desperate in get into power, a kingmaker should make the other party desperate for their support.
-
A kingmaker should back the largest minority party, if this was the tories this time I can't see them backing them. So I think you're right they will back Labour whatever happens. The vote could be tight, Labour have a habit of losing elections they should win, but the tories are so fucked up, Labour must be in with a chance this time. It feels like a good conference for Labour and a very average one for the tories, happy days.

Who plays Margaret Thatcher in the programme?

The South Africa Ireland match was decided on points gained over a technicality over the scrum. A massive game won because someones arse was too high in the air or something.

It is well documented that Boris is lazy, it's not playing the man, it's what he is, he was the issue. He got to the top by his other skills, not hard work. Being lazy and a liar directly contributed to him overseeing a chaotic government and is a big part of why the country is in a mess. -

I'll see your pony and raise you a Boris. -
I can't see your point here?

But Farage isn't a geeky feeedom of speech absolute. He knows Fox could have made his point and got his anger across without saying what he said. Being an absolute is eventually counter productive, Farage knows that well crafted narrative wins the day.

The left only ever play the issue never the person. Happy to agree with Farage if he is right. I love a bit of right wing internecine warfare.

The tories cheering and clapping like pricks when Sunak was listing the roads he's going spend money on was embarrassing. They really think roads and cars are now a symbol against wokery, after 13 years of failure their most cutting edge proposal is to improve roads that should have been improved years ago, not because it's the right thing to do, but because it will upset the yogurt munchers. -

A guy from HS2 said yesterday that they failed to articulate the real benefits of HS2, that it was about capacity not time to London and that it was more about van drivers in Manchester than it was about businessmen in London. They probably also made a strategic error of starting work on the London leg first. -

The thing is it's a conference where different ideas are put forward, it's not meant to be co-ordinated. The more at odds with each other they are, the better. Started listening to Sunak, but can't stand the little twat and his high pitched whinging voice. Is he really the best the tories have got.
