  1. Due to land in Spain at 7pm on the night of the final. Might have to get myself a Los Blancos scarf before I go, I'd hate for the locals to think I want Liverpool to win.
  2. Well as designs go that's 'armless enough.
  3. Intersting views on the shoots or the kits ?
  4. Obvously we can only start with 11 on the pitch, and for keepers it's even worse as they have no psitional flexibility, but anyone "happy" to play second fiddle in any postion should be shipped out asap. Nothing but determination to prove their worth as first choice should be acceptable.
  5. As 0-0s go that was pretty eventful. 🤣 Good result for us too, mid table rival dropped 2 points, Everton rival increased their gap by 1 Question, the foul by the dugouts just before half time was clearly given by the 4th official. Is that allowed?
  6. I thought that happens every year but the stats from @nta786 posted above prove it's not as often as I thought. But we've certainly been weak against lower teams for a long time now (under many different managers and playing squads) I don't think it's for lack of effort or complacency on our part. I put it down to us being a near permanent mid-table-mediocrity type team. The top teams - the regular champion league contenders - don't need to change their game for the likes of us, they are good enough to play their own game against anyone outside their little closed shop. We know what to expect from them and are able to raise and/or adjust our game to compete, usually (but not always) giving them a good run for their money if not coming away with the odd unexpected point or 3. The relegation battling teams see us as a "free-hit" team that they have a chance against and raise and/or adjust their game accordingly, and if they are really up for it are usually able to bully us (if not out play us) into defeat. And in most of those games - including yesterday - we start well but at some point the opposition seem to suddenly realise "we could have these" and we're gone. Seems like something none of our managers have been unable to combat or counter. Had those 4 defeats been the victories they should have been on paper we'd be just a point behind WestHam right now, and look how well the media tell us they are performing.
  7. Maybe he's not noticed he's still on the pitch either.
  8. Typical women, they've got an answer for everything 🤣
  9. I've admittedly only seen highlights of Everton's recent games but every commentary seems to consist of "Richarlison.........Richarlison.........Richarlison.........". Can't stand the guy but he appears to be trying to keep them up on his own.
  10. A couple of years ago someone either copyrighted or trade marked "man of the match" thinking they could charge a fee every time it was used. Everyone came up with new names for it instead. Can't be arsed to find a link but you can google it. In other news, was in Covent Garden this afternoon, a right royal Crystal Palace party was in progress.
  11. Apparently they amplify the vibrations of the eardrum, without them we'd all be deaf
  12. In the unlikely event that we score one , is 1-10 considered a better or worse result than 0-9? (Asking on behalf of Ralphs interview script writer)
  13. Half time. Clutching at straws here but we at least we can't let any more in for at least 15 minutes
  14. Hmmm, all sounds like a double bluff to me. I can picture the team meeting now. RH: " Right lads, Mo's throw ins, they are shite, the opposition always get them first and head them clear, what else can we try?" JWP: (raising his hand excitedly with a shithousery grin on his face) "Let's get the Echo to print a story saying that's exactly what we want them to do" RH: Great , that should fool them. Ok next, who's turn is it to play the 10 role this week? Who'll be first to react as no-one from either side goes for it and the throw is left to just slowly bobble it's way across the penalty area. 🤣
  15. Is that why you have him as your avatar?
  16. Whatever we do from now on we're finishing mid-table mediocrity. Can we add weekly Everton matchday threads just so we can support the "Anyone but Everton" team that week and add some end of season excitement to the forum.
  17. Just cheered out loud for a goal watching two neutral sides from my settee at home 😀 How I'd love to see Everton go down.
  18. Current odds for them to be promoted on PaddyPower....175/1. 🤣 Looks like our post-Covid 2 division social distancing from The-Smell-with-the-Bell is secure for another year.
  19. Just been looking at remaining fixtures. If Burnley can beat Everton tomorrow I reckon that's Everton down (for once, realistic wishful thinking). Can't see them getting another point from their remaining fixtures. They still have to play Watford but even that game I can see Watford having the dogfight experience to take all 3 points. Burnley's fixtures look quite comfortable in comparison, should be capable of 3 or 4 clean sheets as a minimum.
  20. Hadn't Kat already converted any outstanding loans due to her into equity before that?
  21. Has he only just realised? Or has he only just remembered he was ever here - something he usually conveniently forgets Echo story HERE Don't think we need a poll to see if the majority agree with him.
  22. To this day I can remember then sound of Mark Wright's leg breaking in the collision with Shilton in the 86 Cup semi final. He mus have known before he'd even left the pitch that was his nailed on trip to the Mexico World Cup over. But can you imagine him asking not to play in that game "just in case"? Not in a million years. For RH to have even mentioned Jan's "request" there must have been serious ructions behind the scenes over this, the equivalent of Jan signing his own death warrant with the club. Unfortunately if other clubs are now aware of his weak mindset and/or loyalty it may affect his transfer value

Don't beat about the bush, tell us what you really think 😳 Did this guy run off with your missus or something?
  24. I'd imagine in those circumstances The FA/UEFA would sell the Chelsea allocations direct to the fans.
  25. Ah that's it. Wouldn't put it past Everton to attempt some bribery if it's needed to stay up. That last day survival game against Wimbledon back in the 90s looked well dodgey.
