  1. Maybe not, but maybe. Paul Ryan is pretty out there too.
  2. Out of 8 million votes counted in Florida so far - there are 28 separating the two.
  3. Massive Latino turnout in southern Florida, double 2012 in some areas looks as though it might seal it for Clinton.
  4. Can we get a picture of the four empty stands as opposed to just our one.
  5. Worse than that. Looks to be lifted from the Washington Times which is owned and published by the Moonies (not to be confused with the reputable Washington Post). http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2016/jun/19/hillary-clintons-long-list-of-lies/
  6. Yep, very apt. I wonder what Madison was thinking about. Too early to be about slavery and dictat of the north over south. He led the US into a war with Britain which they lost (although the Americans always claim it was a draw) so his judgement wasnt that great.
  7. Think he means detrimental instead of derogatory. Unless the fans were shouting "you're sh it and you know you are..." which is more than possible.
  8. Thanks for that - it makes it clear as to how, but I still don't understand why. What is the advantage of such a system? - it just seems to introduce a whole range of distorting factors, adds complexity and reduce trust in the system for no obvious (to me) benefit. I get that it means 'California votes for Clinton' or 'Texas votes for Trump' etc but at the cost of disenfranchising nearly half the voters. What wrong with a direct election where you add up the votes and declare the winner?
  9. And to then back track a few days later with the 650,000 emails presumably unread (as Trump claims). Not sure how them pitching in and then quickly backing out will work for Clinton. She will tell it a being exonerated but it could also play into Trump's line of the establishment working for Hillary and the election being stolen from him. I still don't understand how the electoral college works and how Gore lost the 2000 election despite getting more votes.
  10. Maybe they meant away games generated £13m for the local economy? Whilst the blue few are somewhere else they aren't stealing in Portsmouth?
  11. Don't see why. We have a much bigger need for it than they do.
  12. Good to know we have such a stellar quality of analytical skills within the MoD. Do you work on the Trident boats with the codes Jamie?
  13. Watching through Sportsmania on Kodi. Excellent quality, well worth £4. but anyone know how you get out of fullscreen? I usually watch in one window with others open at the same time. Cant seem to do that on Kodi.
  14. Just another made up figure isnt it? to go along with £350m
  15. He just (around 6:15) claimed EU regulation cost British business £600m per week! I think we should spend that money on the NHS.....
  16. A lot of hypocrisy / dishonesty coming out. The Home Secretary who did nothing to reduce immigration suddenly becoming a Prime Minister who thinks its an essential outcome. The Home Secretary who pledged loyalty to Cameron and remaining now PM leading a Hard Brexit Government. She seems to think she has a mandate to do what she wants - but she only has am mandate to leave the EU, and even that was marginal
  17. I wish that were so. Although the print circulation has dropped the online site is one of the most popular in the world.
  18. Being beaten by an actual fans owned club - thats got to hurt
  19. They knew that long before the High Court case. Hard Brexit would never have got through Parliament. Better to make that clear now than after two years of ruinous uncertainty.
  20. Yes but what you're ignoring is whilst a slim majority agreed on leaving that slim majority didn't agree on what happened next. There is no option which will attract the support of everyone who voted to leave. Half the people voted to leave the party and go to the pub 5 miles away. When they got outside, despite what they'd been told, it was snowing and there were no taxis. You seriously think no-one is going to change their mind when they see what the choices are?
  21. Have you thought about a career in constitutional law? Probably just as well.
  22. The government will have less chance of overturning this judgement than normally imo. Usually High Court cases are heard by a single circuit judge. The Brexit case was heard by three very senior judges, including the Lord Chief Justice. Its far less likely the Supreme Court will finds grounds to overturn their decision.
  23. He says he wanted Britain out of the EU but in the single market. He must be lying. Wes is sure all of the 51.5% definitely support hard Brexit and so the issue of Brexiteers no longer having majority doesnt arise.
  24. No but seen some swigging from bottles of Lambrusco on the number 5 bus.
  25. How is it thwarted? Only 52% of those voting voted to leave the EU - and only a smaller subset of that 52% would vote for hard Brexit - ie much less than half. MPs will likely allow article 50 to go ahead and will want a say in the negotiations. when those are concluded they will vote in some kind of compromise between the hardline 'out is out beat up a Pole' headbangers and the rest of us.
