Heres a different one, though not sure its much better. Juventus-Southampton, exchange ideas Vucinic-Osvaldo. Mirko Vucinic is outgoing from Juventus. On the Montenegrin there is Inter, but another track has emerged in the last few hours. Vucinic is to register the interest of Southampton. And here is the idea of the last hour: Osvaldo at Juventus and Vucinic in England at the Court of Pochettino. A track should be taken into serious consideration which could take hold in the next few hours. An Exchange in which the parties are working on lighthouses switched off

Peston: "As the governor of the Bank of England has pointed out - it has been driven by household consumption and activity related to the revival in the housing market. And although most would say that after the long years of contraction and stagnation since the crash, any recovery will do, we cannot yet bank on the durability of this one. What we don't yet have is what the coalition government insisted it wanted and it would deliver, namely a balanced recovery whose longevity is assured". http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-25928323

They do - a lot just lose the passion and drive to play football that they had at 17. Its a bit like you with masturbation.

It was one of Cortese's really smart moves to give players like Barnard and Forte long contracts so clubs wouldn't steal them away from us.

You'll be fine, Im just transposing my ex on to your missus in a rueful jibe. Happiness, who needs it?

You do know the sex addict part is a cynical temporary act designed to lure in a well paid financial services bod who would otherwise shy away from the whole thing due to the kids? This time next year you'll be be commuting to London for the money and buffing the bishop on a Saturday night.... ...maybe. Im sure she's not really like that tho....

Isnt that where SuperMikey has his coffee date planned?
-
Good luck to Aaron, hope he gets to play regularly at a good club. The fact that four players who have been left in limbo for months and years have now gone in the three weeks since Cortese left says something significant, I'm just not sure what......

For chrissake take that extra line out of that post Bear.

That Forbes article is interesting. A colleague of mine is an economist who works on the embedded value of natural resources. A couple of years ago he researched the amount of fish caught globally and its dockside value (ie before processing and retailing). Every country in the world showed catches peaking in the late 1980s and declining steadily thereafter, despite increasing fishing effort. Every country in the world apart from China, whose catches continue to show an unbelievably straight line linear increase year after year. After lots of analysis, monitoring of fish markets and some digging around the only explanation he could come up with was that Chinese civil servants make the numbers up. China still has a strong central planning model - the government sets targets and goals and the civil servants are expected to deliver on those goals or face dismissal - so they do. I have no idea if that can be extrapolated more widely to other official economic data - but it wouldn't take a big leap to imagine it.

Lone star Steakhouses are great for feeding a family well without breaking the bank. Good food and service, nice atmosphere. Theres one on Vineland Avenue, just off south Apokpa Drive (which is the main road to Kissimmee)

Most of the people in wheelchairs I saw there were just too fat to walk - and then complained if they couldnt get in the rides.

Two different and separate issues being conflated imo. The HSBC withdrawal block thing was just local branch managers sometimes interpreting guidance too strictly. There's a NYb Times report of HSBC's response here. http://dealbook.nytimes.com/2014/01/26/hsbc-apologizes-after-cash-withdrawal-issue-in-britain/?_php=true&_type=blogs&_r=0 HSBC doesn't have any systemic problems, the problem is with China itself. The have had massive economic growth - but thats on the back of uneconomic cheap loans going to stupid business ideas which don't make any money. There is a real risk of the country going pop like the Irish Celtic tiger - but on a much much bigger scale http://www.cityam.com/article/hsbc-meets-basel-capital-target-early

Begrudging thanks to Rupert Lowe and Southampton City Council

Very sycophantic towards Guy Askham imo. -
Take a day out from the theme parks and go and see some of natural Florida. Tbh my kids enjoyed a half day hike in one, seeing a family of racoons and eating fresh watermelon from the back of a farmers trailer more than Disneyland. http://www.floridastateparks.org/ http://www.canoewekiva.com/ Also go to one of the waterparks - Aquatica is great. http://aquaticabyseaworld.com/en/orlando/?source=fromportal

Why fault for anybody? Saints finances at the time placed us in the lower half of the PL. We were firmly in the group of 12 or so clubs who stayed up when signings and management appointments worked out - but when a couple of things bombed were dragged down, we wren't unique. Lowe was around for 10 years - during which 30 clubs got relegated, some of them even without an evil bogeyman in charge. The only truly reckless and stupid decisions were made under Wilde and Crouch who blew the last of the clubs funds on a desperate gamble to bounce back up - without that there would likely have been no admin. -

You write as though Lowe turned down billionaires who were beating a path to our door in favour of relying on the academy whereas Cortese was super smart because he alone realised you could achieve more with big wads of someone else's money. That isn't what happened. Lowe sought investment for years, but at the time the PL hadn't yet got the big inflow of foreign investors.
