  1. It might well be worth giving these people a call about those two techs. They are a charitable company so are generous and unbiased with advice. I know people who have had them installed but have no first hand experience. http://www.bioregional.com/ http://www.bioregional.com/what-we-do/our-services/solutions-for-wood-and-biomass/ If you are starting from scratch with new build its a fantastic opportunity to get a beautiful home that is a joy to live in. My main advice would be to make sure the house is super insulated - its cheap to do if designed in at the start and will save you a fortune in the long run - whichever heating system you eventually choose. Ive got these windows and am very pleased with them. http://www.nordan.co.uk/UK/index.php
  2. The showroom price and the fully fitted price will be very different - especially if your chimney needs to be lined or if you dont have one and need a flue installed. My ex paid nearly £5,000 to have one installed "to save money on gas bills" and then proceeds to buy all her wood in small bags at a high price from the garage. Aesthetically, for homely feel they give they are lovely and are worth it for that alone imo. Only if you live off the mains gas supply and rely on electricity, oil or propane and have space to store bulk deliveries of dry wood (dont burn damp stuff) will it save you money. Just FYI I got mine from here. Its a good shop with knowledgable people - though too far to schlep from Southampton probably. http://www.bolneystoves.co.uk/
  3. Fiona McTaggart in press picture Fiona McTaggart in official Labour candidate picture Are they by any chance related?
  4. Me too. Thought about going tonight but 3.5 hour round trip to stand in the cold for a so-so game at full price I couldnt be arsed. If they had done a cheap hospitality deal - curry and cash bar no celebs or prizes for £30 I would have gone.
  5. You want it packed or not?
  6. Even if they arent creationists, a sizeable part of the population - at lweast 1 in 12 - are irrational, they have a 'feeling' or 'belief' and wont be swayed by what the evidence says. If you get one of those people on a jury, stuck in their rut when the rest of the jury want to go home and see their kids / earn some money then people often cave in.
  7. Exactly. Its a traditional pastime, the woman has a good chance and the spectators get a good day out.
  8. Presumably because Shilton delared the amount but disputed that it was taxable. Redknapp hid his.
  9. I used to work with David Icke when he was a plain old sports reporter on BBC South, c1984. He would never wash his hair or come to the pub /cafe with the rest of the crew for lunch. We just thought he was bit aloof and anti social. He never mentioned the Queen or lizards afaik.
  10. clever
  11. I quite liked the show, but who was that old lady lip synching all the way through it?
  12. You could argue that British elections tend to produce dictatorship by the minority to the majority and that the Queen represents all sections of societies. (Im not sure I would argue that, but you could..... )
  13. I do read the UI, but I dont post there. You by contrast spam voraciously on both boards.
  14. K. Bye then. See you next month.
  15. Thats not true! Theres not many of them on the UI but its a real fruit salad.
  16. I'd vote for you Pap, you sure you want the job? All that corgi patting and visiting dull projects and having to smile a lot.
  17. So you aren't in fact back here posting on the sad old sellout board at the first opportunity you get - but are in fact joshing and bantering with your passionate fellow forum posters on the UI. Got it.
  18. None of them look much like this
  19. Im not saying we should give to India as theres no shortage of places where real need exists. Aid to India is a pretty amoral game anyway. Their government tries to pretend it doesnt need it because India is now a prosperous modern country where western companies should come and invest (no flies and no begging no sirree) whilst the British government uses aid as a lever to try and secure export contracts for UK companies.
  20. I can read Jamie Cullum, Lulu and (lindsey) Lohan. Doubt they actually played that day though. Jones, Dodd, Lundekvam, Richards, Oakley, Draper, Davies, Beattie, Bridge, El Khalej, Kachloul, Pahars, Moss, Marsden, Tessem, Rosler, Soltvedt were in and around the team that season if that helps.
  21. Thats the fundamental question though. Do you give directly to people are desperately poor and need it bypassing their ****ty government - or do you only give to countries which have poor but progressive governments who are trying to improve the lot of their people.
  22. Dunno what it is, but its been gentrified. We used to eat it a lot when I was a kid because it was cheap. Supermarket wanted £4 for four slices at the weekend.
  23. cyanide
  24. Capello is right about the principal of being innocent until proven guilty. In the case of John Terry however I'd be quite happy if he was kneecapped as well.
