NA was talking in the interview yesterday about how football is moving towards becoming a "non contact sport". Thats an exaggeration, I guess to make a point, but it is true that the game is far less physical than it used to be and the goalie gets far more protection. Cant remember the last time I saw a goalie unable to play on through a match.

I do that. Oddly liked it better last year tho when it was 3 days working from home and two days a week in office in London.

This year we didnt get our first frost until last week and the snow today is no more than 2cm and melting fast. Its a hard call to make whether its worth it, especially if its not essential for you to travel whatever the weather.

When the Hooper speculation was going on a Celtic fan was quoting statistics about the shot/goal conversion rate of Lambert compared with Hooper. Cant remember the excact figures but he reckoned RL took almost three times as many shots for each goal scored compared to Hooper. Have never seen those stats listed anywhere, would make interesting reading about the rest of the team also.

Fair points. Its an example of the extent to which trolls are allowed to disrupt discussion on this forum. As soon as one or two have jumped in with deliberately extreme anti posts you just know that the pro posts will be at the other end of the spectrum and measured debate goes out the window. Its playing that game that alllows trolls to thrive and get the attention they dont get elsewhere.
