Its obvious why players dont come out. Football crowds scream and chant at straight players for simply coming from a town with a sizable gay population (but still less than 10%). Probably not what you want to hear, but I looked into it and chose high end laminate in the end. The laquered real wood scratches easily and the oiled wood needs to be maintained every year. Dont confuse cheap laminate with the stuff you pay £25-30sq m for (still less half the price of real wood). Five villages (hence the name) surrounded by steep cliffs and pretty cut off from the rest of Italy until about 50 years ago. Good food. World heritage site. Stay in Portovenere and catch the regular jump on jump off ferry to the villages.
