If anything this is good news for Saints as 1. ML's daughter clearly has NC closely involved with the family affairs. 2. With MALI gone Saints may be the beneficiary of closer attention

Agree totally. Most people will forgive, and have increased respect for, someone who fesses up and apologises unconditionally. The trouble is that in the culture we have developed claiming black is white (to coin a phrase) works and will get you off most hooks.

As far as I can tell AA is announcing that they may have a buyer subject to them doing due diligence, providing proof of funds and passing the fit and proper persons test. ie somebody has phoned up and claimed they are interested, nothing more substantial than that.

Agree with that totally. If Twitter can provide something I actually want or need then of course its something I'd use. The examples you gave though are practical useful information feeds akin to Blooomberg for example, not social media imo. Most people and companies communicate too much when they have nothing real to say and want only to sell you something. So much gack is generated I find myself shutting down the feed.

The whole social networking 'must utter short generic messages to dozens instead of speaking to the person next to you' is ******** imo and will be laughed at in future decades. I dont even carry my mobile if I can help it. Special interest forums like this one or those for fishing, cars, dwarf enemas etc are a different entity imo before anyone throws that in.

Its the endless grind of the season which is so taxing rather than the length of the close season imo. They dont get to do many of the things you and I take for granted during the year. When the club is playing two games a week they are training at least six days out seven, on and off coaches and hotel rooms - even training Christmas day. No part of their week is guaranteed time off, they can be called in at any time and cant ever take weekends aways. My performance would drop off after a fews weeks on that schedule.

All very overblown, there wont be any armaggedon. Even the worse case scenario would mean 1% off growth in 2012 and 2013. What matters are the economic fiundamentals, not which counting system you use.
