  1. Ummm, yes you can. They just agree to implement a system in say, six years time. It will give all clubs world wide to get their heads around it. Most employers decide how much they pay their employees. If they want to pay their top end players, top wages, then they will have to have some low wage players in there as well.
  2. You sort of can, if FIFA had any balls, if they made that the rule, then all those under their umbrella would have to abide by it.
  3. Lower wages, lower transfer fees, simple, works in other sports and countries. Set a wage limit, then set a limit each club can spend. I know the Aleague is championship standard, but it works for them. The football authorities need to act now, as you said, the tipping point is here.
  4. This ^^^^
  5. Well, at the moment it is attack v defence, like training, but the scoreline has WBA winning. Just what we want.
  6. can you pay my £5 subscription please.
  7. Pele said, that MLT was the only England player, who would get into the Brazilian team.
  8. You won’t get anywhere on here, writing commonsense posts. The snipers will be out for you, but we’ll said.
  9. Same as us then!
  10. Or, the Valley slags. Oldies only 😉
  11. The issue with this manager and previous, is simple. Football is simple, played it, coached it, and reffed and watched it all my life (apart from when I was a baby, obviously), but these recent managers look to be trying to re-invent the wheel, with all these ‘systems’, just play football, it’s simple.
  12. There are two better players than Smallbone and Adarma, so I would play them either side if Alcaraz.
  13. I count 4 or 5 leaders, so don’t really see that as a problem.
  14. I said 9 because we got rid of most of the wasters that have polluted the club for the past three years. I’d still of like our two starting CB’s to have gone, but overall, content with the incoming players. People should understand, we have mostly kept our powder dry regarding spending money, but accumulated a group of players capable of promotion. If we do go up, we will need every penny to buy, to stay up. So, a 9/10 for me.
  15. No, just no. We have had three seasons of square pegs in round holes, all this RB playing LB, CB’s at LB/RB, MF at RB, WAMF at LB. None of it worked, play the players in their favourite position, it’s not rocket science.
  16. Umm! Maybe we say no, and he fulfills his contract.
  17. Good chat. Just pointing out, that you seem to be a very opinionated person, mainly running the club down.
  18. I don’t know, you are the one who thinks he knows all, pray tell us.
  19. How much in wages did we spend?
  20. And how much did we spend over the last two windows?
  21. We really do have some colossal melts on here. Those same names calling for the whole team to be rid off, in the summer, are now crying because those very same under performing players, are in fact, being got rid off. For me, this is the reset the club needs, and I am quite happy to be playing football at a lower level, where we can at least win games, and are not competing with clubs richer than some countries. I will await the closing of the transfer window, before making judgement, but as a championship club, we are conducting our business as our status dictates. Those calling for all the incoming transfer fees to be squandered, have very short memories. We have done that, and ended up with the very same players, we now can’t shift.
  22. 5-1 Saints………2-1 at half time.
  23. Will he get fowled a lot……….
  24. Why are the two starting CBs for Saints, the two we wanted rid of last year because they were crap.
  25. They do know, that we have a shit load of pl quality players they can loan from us, including a GK, 2 x CBS, a couple of strikers, and a couple of wide midfielders.
