  1. This forum will become more objective and constructive after the Liebherr/Cortese takeover
  2. Good point. I'm keeping my beady eye on the Skegness holiday home market in case he expands his UK property portfolio further...
  3. Whatever MP's motives are for raising this, one things for sure, Morgan having his name in the English national papers is a good way of rattling the French FA's cage...
  4. Show me another 100 similar photos before I consider jumping on the bandwagon
  5. If 'accidentally brushing the arm of a defender' is handball according to the rules of the game then the rules need changing. IMO.
  6. Mind boggling decision
  7. Out of curiosity, what do you type into Google to find these cynical and bitter articles?
  8. I spotted that the other day and wondered why it had changed....
  9. @pn_neil_allen: So David Lampitt has left Supporters Direct. Their statement on intriguingly sudden and very swift departure. #Pompey http://t.co/9hBSHA8jn8
  10. Mr Allen gets as far as paragraph 2 before trotting out the first incorrect 'fact'... He was actually booked to appear on MotD2 before the freak goal incident. #factless
  11. Maybe we should have closed the thread after one of the previous takeovers?
  12. That's quite a sobering set of results there. Hull only had 2 more victories after that flying start. I can't see us having quite such a bad run of results though (famous last words...)
  13. Anyone else think that our supposed "lack of depth" is actually working to our advantage at the moment? In other words, we have a more settled starting 11 than other teams 'in the mix' who feel they have to rotate their squad more than we do to keep their 'superstar' players happy. Take Spurs today for example. Many Spurs fans phoning up radio stations after the game saying that AVB needs to stop tinkering and decide what his best starting 11 is. Yes, I know the 'advantage' of a strong/fixed starting 11 coupled with a weaker 'reserve' 11, could/will catch up with us eventually as injuries, suspensions, etc, start to kick in but, for now, I'm thinking our perceived "lack of depth" is working in our favour.
  14. Indeed. Its much easier to be a pessimist than an optimist (on this forum in particular).
  15. We do have a chance. A slim one, but its a "chance" nonetheless.
  16. If we were currently 3rd from bottom would you be worried about the possibility of relegation?
  17. Anyone changed their mind yet...?
  18. Yep, fair point. Thinking out loud was never my strong point
  19. Every 'rule' has exceptions...

    MOTD Tonight

    Messi's agent?
  21. Watching it on MotD last night, I felt more inclined to blame Boruc than Wanyama. I think there was a realisation in Boruc's reaction after he kicked it to Wanyama that he had made the wrong choice of pass out (hence gesticulating for Wanyama to quickly pass it out to the right) Why didn't Boruc kick it out to the player on his own on the right (Fonte?) in the first place of that was the safest route out of defence? Yes, Wanyama could have done better but Boruc could have played a safer ball too.
