"Pompey must also exit administration by the end of the season to earn their ‘golden share’ – which is membership to the League. Failure to do so will see them forced to apply to play in the Blue Square Bet Conference next season." Erm, lower than that, surely...? #factlessallen

"The News understands the League are conscious that taking points away from an already-relegated club may not be perceived as a punishment. They will be firmly under the microscope over a scenario which represents the first of its kind. And with little sympathy in the game from rival clubs for Pompey’s plight, there remains political pressure. Concern over whether Pompey may start League Two next term on minus-10 also exists in Pompey Supporters’ Trust circles. Ultimately, an eight-man Football League board will decide the outcome once the club comes out of administration. Until then, League chiefs have declined to comment on the Blues’ situation. It means the issue of when the points deduction will be made remains unclear. As a result, the Trust – Pompey’s prospective owners – have called for clarity from the League. Trust spokesman Colin Farmery said: ‘It is a discretionary punishment and, as always, is up to the Football League. ‘We certainly feel that natural justice dictates the points should come off this season – but at the moment there are no answers." So, on Planet Pompey "natural justice" = punishment has no material effect. Same old Pompey, always trying to squirm out of something... It would also appear that the Football League never returned #factlessallen's call yesterday, hence having to concoct a "We understand...." non-story...

Probably me being a bit dim and/or half asleep but, remind me, why did the Man Utd result tonight affect our game vs Reading?

@AshBeen23: Court case will begin April 10 or 11. Lets hope common sense prevails and it does not get that far @MatthewLeGod: @AshBeen23 Common sense would have liquidated long ago a 3 times failed company that racked up £150m+ of debt including £40m+ to taxpayer. @Walkthe9T2: @MatthewLeGod @AshBeen23 This sort of comment is why fans up and down the country think SFC are a nothing club where Pompey is loved. @MatthewLeGod: @Walkthe9T2 Why is that? I don't represent the club. Imagine my comment was about any other business and it would be entirely reasonable. @Walkthe9T2: @MatthewLeGod Football Clubs are not "any other business" which is why its customers are paying millions to save it. I don't think they'll ever get it MLG... "We're a football club ergo it's alright to diddle businesses, charities and the taxpayer out of c.£150m" #sigh

I tend to agree but Pochettino will be damned if he does and damned if he doesn't (either way if we lose)

The truth is the PST bid will be successful and it will enable a Community Club with 51% min fan ownership.
