  1. West Ham lead
  2. @jordansibley: Best of luck to @MAcMcAuliffe and Cardiff City tonight. Going to stick my neck on the line and say they will get past West Ham over 2 legs.
  3. Come on Cardiff!!
  4. @pn_neil_allen: Goodbye Jason Pearce. Top lad and worthy #Pompey player of the year. Low earner though so plenty more players to shift. http://t.co/3LZImMnD
  5. I disagree. A decision not to vote for any of the candidates (based on measured consideration of the options) sends out a clear message to those who solicit our vote. As it happens, I think voting should be compulsory but with a 'none of the above' option on the ballot paper. And the good thing about having different opinions on this is than neither of us is right or wrong :-)
  6. Hats off to you sir. Nice comment :-)
  7. Indeed. We went into admin because Lowe spent more money on infrastructure than players whereas Pompey went into admin (twice) for precisely the opposite reason.
  8. I disagree. Voting for someone for the sake of voting....now that's poor.
  9. @TonyHusbandBBC: RT @KCobbolds: We may be down at the moment but we definately are not out.' Absolutely, Pompey victim of circumstances. Fans deserve better.
  10. @TonyHusbandBBC: RT @FosterAdrian: you forgot to mention.Pompey have won the League & Cup twice.Saints just Cup and that was offside!' The debate begins!
  11. Ah, the halcyon days of takeover sagas..... :-)
  12. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/17939332 "As Portsmouth powered their way to a 4-1 Premier League victory over Southampton in April, 2005, south coast football observers could feel the pendulum in this great rivalry swing decisively to the blue half of Hampshire. Seven years on, those who see football through red-tinted spectacles will feel that the natural order has been restored with Southampton in the top flight and Portsmouth somewhere below them in the pyramid. Yet just three years ago the roles were reversed. Southampton were in administration, relegated to League One and facing a fight for survival. Portsmouth were a Premier League club. Now look where we are today. A look into the past throws up similarities between two clubs 17 miles apart. Although to many they now seem worlds apart in their hopes and dreams. " Hmmm....some interesting airbrushing in that article from Mr Husband.....he seems to think that there's many similarities between our historic financial plight and Pompey's....
  13. Didn't Cortese once say that he first heard about Southampton's plight in April 2009, some 3 months before he and ML took over?
  14. Even if that means we do really well because people weren't expecting us to...? Seems like an excellent tactic to me...
  15. It's never too late to report a crime...
  16. "Illegal" as in breaking the law of the land or "illegal" as in breaking Football League rules?
  17. Does Richard Fry still work for Begbies?

    Why......

Why don't irons have on/off switches?
  19. @MrSimonWilliams: José Fonte will welcome new additions to the squad, but warns they must fit in with the team spirit at #saintsfc http://t.co/uRYYMaGd
  20. @MrSimonWilliams: http://t.co/KdkW1Xku A good read if only for this stat: West Ham's squad shares 358 international caps, Saints 56 (Connolly 43 of these)
  21. Why do people get annoyed about something that's easy to avoid?
  22. Too long to tell the story on here? (said FF posting on a 1,000+ page thread) No story is too long for the SWF...fire away... ;-))
  23. @pn_neil_allen: RT @brianhowe01: @pn_neil_allen @pompeytrust No.i haven't joined the trust. Does that make me not a supporter ?
