As you imply, there's no point counting as they are Pompey and they can cheat with impunity.

FFS! The Football League need to start getting serious about upholding the integrity of their competition! So, let's get this straight Mr Birch..... you reckon you get extra penalty points for exiting Administration without a CVA yet you believe you should get no extra penalty points for exiting Administration with a CVA that you later screw up and throw in the bin? In terms of the end result, what's the f***ing difference you blithering idiots? (Question to Birch & the FL)

Yay. Just bought two tickets online. Non-season ticket holder & didn't go to Donny. Lovely jubbly.
-
That's actually quite an assuring read. I was beginning to think that our 'friends' down the road were starting to show signs of intelligence but your friend has reaffirmed that they still have the intellect of a jibbering baboon. (with apologies in advance to any genuine primates who may be reading this thread)

I'm more obsessed with people's obsession with other people's obsessions....

True. And I guess we don't want Palace to get too close to the play-offs before we play them either. (Yes, I know...."Control the Controllables " and all that malarkey)

Brighton go 2-1 up. Forecast OUT!
-
Let the build-up commence.... Ipswich v Middlesbrough 19:45 Leicester v Nottm Forest 19:45 Peterborough v West Ham 19:45 Portsmouth v Hull 19:45 Crystal Palace v Doncaster 20:00 Just the two games that can affect our satisfaction levels tonight then....

Just saw this headline and for a split second thought they were making a film about Fratton Park and Pompey fans.... http://www.portsmouth.co.uk/news/movie-star-russell-crowe-films-les-miserables-in-portsmouth-1-3670748 "Movie star Russell Crowe films Les Miserables in Portsmouth"

@officialsaints: Saints pressing for a second here, had most of the play in 2nd half. Falque closest to scoring, but his shot hit the bar #saintsfc

Ah, fair dos. Still seems a bit odd to not give your No.2 keeper match practice though
-
I must admit, I had the same initial thought as Nexstar. It would seem a bit against the norm not to give Bart a run out in the reserves. Quite possibly we're in 2+2=5 territory here but there could be something in it. there again, maybe there isn't.

I think there was some speculation at the time that Spurs might have done that as a means to an end in that they had to sign him in order to loan him out (i.e. you can't loan a loanee). Would there be anything stopping Spurs selling him on so soon after just buying him? I wouldn't rule it out.

The majority are younger (often extended) family members who join their older relatives. Nothing wrong with that, per se, but it was seemingly an uncontrolled influx.
-
Sshhhhh.....you'll blow my cover......
-
I live in the same borough (not Aldershot, the posh bit, I hasten to add) and it is a problem (in general, not park benches specifically). The infrastructure in the area (schools, hospitals, etc) simply wasn't expanded to cater for the influx. I'm sure it's a huge coincidence but the 'problem' increased exponentially during the "Labour Years" (there you go, I said it. I'm going to get a ticking off now from Mr V for harking back to political times of yesteryear....)
-
I cheated slightly as that's a combined amount of years rather than elapsed :-)
-
Only 62 more years until you've had as much experience of working in the NHS as my wife's family have then....
-
I think they're all as bad as each other FWIW. I simply provide a public service to those in this big society of ours that are under the misapprehension that the nasty Tories have a monopoly on this sort of thing. All free of charge too. Unless someone wants to take me out to dinner.
-
I've got my own divining rods...or should that be 'divine rod'...?
-
No.
-
No, I'd simply divert it into the moat
-
"could" damage the NHS? Why the doubt?
-
Maybe they've got to remove some of the seats anyway for the much mooted (but never confirmed) stadium expansion plan....?
