@bigadamsport: Just finishing work on a #saintsfc club finance story which will air @ 0700 tomorrow, fans can also hear details in @solentsport bulletins
-
Is that all? What does that equate to in units of Pompey player wages...? ;-)
-
Ha ha... I wonder which club this might have been aimed at: "Sometimes you hear of clubs who put all their finances in one pot and it's a bit of a boom or bust, but we're trying to build something for 20-30 years and that is going to be sustainable."
-
Ah, right. Cool. Missed that. Well, that makes it simple then. Additional points penalty it is then. Surely...
-
So, live chat with the Pompey Supporters Trust on Friday then.... @pn_neil_allen: RT @markacheson: Date for your diaries: 3pm Friday March 30 live chat at http://t.co/yHM3ziwL with #Pompey Supporters Trust. @pompeytrust Does this mean they've found enough rubles down the back of the sofa to table a bid for the club then or is this the first signs of a 'plan B' in the offing?
-
Yeah, more than likely. The scallywags

To save the 'rigmarole' of a collection, perhaps there's a few quid in the SWF membership 'rainy day' account that could be tapped into to buy a kit for the Gambian lads? Would make a great story - could even make the national press with the right contacts...it might even pay for itself if it drums up a wave of new memberships to here. Just a thought. -
Apologies for my scratched-record question but is the due date of the first payment "aspirational" or a contractual "obligation"? My interpretation of the way AA worded the CVA is that the only 'obligatory' payment date is 17th June 2015

Working fine here on latest iPhone app

And did Scarborough "do a Pompey" and create a new company in the intervening period to muddy the waters....?
-
@jordansibley: For those asking, interviews with Nicola Cortese, Les Reed and Adam Lallana will be up on Saints Player later today #saintsfc
-
Yep....unfortunately that's my take on it too.....reading between the lines I think 'they' (newCo on behalf of oldCo) can pay the remaining balance in one lump on 17th June 2015 and still comply with the CVA....? Can someone put a different slant on it based on the wording in AA's completion report?
-
Yep. Defo can't see anything that obliges them to pay the interim installments though, just that they need to pay the whole 20% by 2015....unless I'm reading it incorrectly....here are the original CVA proposals that were approved: And here is the payment schedule that came out of the back of that:

@jordansibley: Busy morning at Staplewood showcasing the plans for the new training ground as the bulldozers rolled in. #saintsfc http://t.co/o1HrIO82

You bought them online today?
-
I'm in Block 12 too. I feel a SWF Itchen/Chappel corner executive committee meeting in my waters....
-
Ah, good. That's a bonus
-
Erm....but didn't AA sneak in a crafty 'get out' clause whereby the ONLY deadline is for the final CVA payment (sometime in 2013) and that all the dates for the staged payments prior to that are "aspirational" dates? I'm sure someone has posted the exact CVA wording before now that backs up this theory....

I thougth this too....suggest the OP sends the details to Sibley & co -
Let me know if that works...I'd rather pay them an extra five (or whatever) to get it posted than the £20 it will cost in petrol for the round trip to collect!

Superb. Love it :-) -
Depending on how strict they are being, you may have to show the credit/debit card used to buy online/over the phone when they are picked up from the TO. They've never asked to see mine when I've picked the tickets up before, but they do say to bring it along when I've ordered on the phone before.
-
Ah, right....didn't realise....where does it say that? cheers
-
Yep, same here. Home delivery wasn't an option. Seems like a belt and braces security measure perhaps, but one would have thought deliverying to a home address on the database is actually more secure than a pick up (where you have to give little or no ID). Hey ho....will just get there early to beat the queues Edit: just seen someone say you can't pick up on the say (Why ever not?)
