  1. And the Torygraph pulled it because he started slagging off Lady T. (Dame Maggie that is, not the current Mrs Trousers)
  2. Yeah, but c.100% of the information in that article has already appeared on this thread.... ;-)
  3. @pn_neil_allen: Original Telegraph article on #Pompey appears to have been pulled. Conspiracy theories abound! Try this instead http://t.co/3RA1F4rf
  4. Hmmm....yep, not listed on his column page: http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/columnists/matt-scott/
  5. Or a 'Lurkster' as we sometimes like to call them.... ;-)'
  6. I'm not sure how stretching the admin fees out into a 7 figure sum is helping him achieve said value for money...
  7. The conspiracy theorist in me has been mulling over a similar hypothsis for a few weeks now. I'm convinced (as someone who makes things up can be) that Birch is somehow in 'collusion' with one or more of the players in this game (be it Chainrai, The Football League, HMRC, etc) in order to stretch things out until the next parachute payemnts arrive. I'm not sure whether the Trust are part of this hypothetical collusion or whether they are unwittingly being used by those stringing it out but it all points to a manipulation of the situation....In somone else's opinion of course....
  8. Margaret Thatcher??
  9. I do love rhetorical questions... ;-)

    Jimmy Carr

    Yeah, but what about Labour?
  11. I've been following the shenanegins (sp?) unfold on their Facebook page for the last 24 hours: https://www.facebook.com/iwfestival Some unhappy bunnies on there but quite amusing for the impartial observer....
  12. Disclaimer: nothing I ever post on this forum is my own words or opinion. Apart from my infatuation with the Goddess Thatcher that is. Obviously.
  13. Ergo....the Football League will agree to it...
  14. @pn_neil_allen: Aaron Mokoena departure 'imminent' according to his agent. Let's hope so. For the sake of #Pompey's future players must go ASAP.
  15. Eddie 'The Eagle' Edwards was our best ski jumper... ;-) (ok, poor analogy, but there's a drift there somewhere...pun intended)

  18. The clue is in the question...
  19. "Survival hopes" my arse! Don't they know our plans for world domination FFS?! ;-)
  20. @pn_neil_allen: Appleton promises not to let the #Pompey payroll spiral out of control. If only certain chief executives felt the same! http://t.co/G0qIqkes

    Yeah, but what about Labour?
  22. @Peston: Most interesting downgrade may be RBS: short-term rating expected to be cut from P-1 to P-2. Embarrassing for RBS, no funding problems
  23. @SunSportNow: Clarence Seedorf on leaving AC Milan: "I thank everyone. I'll let you know soon about my future. I'm taking my time. I have lots of offers."
  24. @Peston: Am hearing the Moody's downgrades of UK banks likely to be at 6.30 our time, with US banks downgraded later tonight
