I hear that Chris Huhne's ex wife is replacing John Terry as England captain as she's better at taking penalties...

Adam Blackmore @bigadamsport #pompey tell me they're cautiously expecting the game v hull to go ahead- no inspection today, although I think they'll need one in morning

James Pearce @Pearcesport Different court room today. This one's slightly bigger which means more football fans have been able to fit in public gallery today Prosecution closing arguments. Ask jury for a "cold, clinical analysis of the issues you need to determine" Prosecution say Redknapp "knows perfectly well that his club had a responsibility for deducting tax at source" Prosecution say key question about Monaco money is: "Did it arise from employment income? Was it a bonus?" If bonus, should have been taxed Prosecution "Was it simply coincidence that the £100,000 was not that far from the 5% (Crouch) that Redknapp had lost?" Prosecution tell jury News of World tape in which Redknapp repeatedly says payment was a bonus is "extremely important" Prosecution say way Redknapp answers News of World questions is "extremely telling" + "will assist you enormously in determining the truth" Prosecution say that on the tape Redknapp "couldn't have made it plainer" that money was a bonus. "The words come from Mr Redknapp's mouth" Prosecution say Redknapp has "many qualities you'll have little doubt about, but fact is this - bonus paid to bank in Monaco + no tax paid"

I see Bournemouth's home game tomorrow has already been called off due to frozen pitch. Raises the chances of Pompey's going the same way....?

Has anyone got a copy of the "Statement of Administrator's Proposals" (Document Type: 2.17B) for the adminstration of CSI, as published on 20th January? I suppose I could splash out £1 to download it myself..... The main objective of yesterday's creditors meeting was to approve (or otherwise) this proposal docment, as per the process outlined here: http://www.bankruptcy-insolvency.co.uk/insolvency-act/p02c0_3.php

@pn_neil_allen: So Paul Jewell is told not to deal with Lampitt but with AA on transfer deadline day. Who's in charge here? http://t.co/qWxMO1Oe #Pompey

Indeed. Quite clearly insolvent and, yet, they still continue to escape a points penalty. What on Earth are the Football League waiting for...? Could someone put on their hat of devil's advocacy and articulate why Pompey SHOULDN'T have points deducted right here, right now?

All you're doing is highlighting an imbalance in our voting system in that you can have a party getting more votes in an election than the winning party did in the previous election yet not win enough seats for a majority. Nothing whatsoever to do with Labour rigging constituency sizes of course.... ;-) And, anyway, it's only those pesky Scots that stopped Dave getting an outright majority ;-)

@pn_Rory_McKeown: RT @PennyMordauntMP: Just been mailed by a Dad whose little boy wants the PM to come to the next Pompey match. Sweet!

@joshooiveld20: Recovery process is going very well, very close to matchfitness.

One word rather than two then.....?

Google: Storrie Florida Monaco

Where did you find that gem?!

Don't you get thrown out if the league for not being able to fulfil a fixture? (other than for reasons beyond your control)
