So, if I'm reading that correctly, Fanshawe is saying the opposite of what a lot of us have understood to be the case.....i.e. he's saying the players will get nothing in the event of liquidation where some of us have been saying that they will be covered by the Football League and/or PFA.....Who's right?

No need for speculation (yes, i know....an alien concept on the Saints Web Forum....) as the family have already explained why they feel uncomfortable seeing it (IIRC)

^this "Moose" actually does what he's paid to do very well. Indeed, the very fact that it's given rise to this thread (and no doubt many others across the land) will have earned him a bonus no doubt

Anyone know (or best guess) what funds the PFA have stashed away to cover this type of eventuality? What would happen, for example, if the total value of Pompey players' contract settlement figure is greater than the funds the PFA have available? Maybe the PFA then get forced into administration thus placing the whole space-time continuum into jeopardy.... But, in all seriousness, don't the PFA have a vested interest in keeping Pompey alive? And when does this vested interest become a conflict of interest....?
