  1. Fair dos, but I was just commenting on it with my "punter in the street saying which one he thinks looks best on a computer screen" hat on. In other words, it's the best "design" visually (IMHO) rather than technically. Is there no-one that can take the best "visual" design and make a "technically viable" version out of it? Or does 'computer graphics' not work as simply as my brain...? (answer's on a postage stamp...!)
  2. Indeed. Selective article quoting would never work on here.... ;-)
  3. What, and take away the only period of time where the forum doesn't crash....? ;-)
  4. It's the grown men commenting on the grown men getting their knickers in a twist that I worry about most.... ;-)
  5. I've just gone through all the designs for the first time and, whilst I'm no graphic designer, the one above jumped out at me has having the best all round look and feel. The black highlighting of the facial features makes it look most realistic and captures Markus' "cheerful chap" character the best IMHO. It is also the most removed from the KFC 'look-a-likes'
  6. ffs
  7. Ignore me...just spotted Tapatalk have introduced a 'latest' config option in 'settings' for this. At ease
  8. Is it me, or has the 'latest' view panel changed in Tapatalk for this forum? The 'latest' view used to display the most recently updated threads regardless of which sub-forum they were in, thus, one used to get lounge interspersed with muppet show interspersed with saints etc. Now, the 'latest' view groups threads into forum categories, so the threads no longer appear in absolute chronological order in this view, which kinda defeats the object. Is this something that is configurable at forum level or have Tapatalk changed it at source (in the application)?
  9. Rather than have 4 or 5 'politically orientated' debate threads every month that all end up going the same way, wouldn't it be more efficient to have one locked sticky thread with everyone's political view stated in it for reference? That'll save people from both 'sides' having to post the same underlying thesis time and time again. Then we can just talk about important things like football and stuff. Just a thought.
  10. You can't have have opinion and fact. One or the other, surely...? ;-)
  11. Hypo and Deppo are the same person. Keep up. ;-)
  12. Yes. It's forum rules
  13. Deppo posting in his own obituarous thread from purgatory?! I fear for the space time continuum
  14. It's the predictability of this forum that I like the best
  15. Given most Championship and Premier League teams rely on "players of his sort" (i.e. Largely unloyal and in it for themselves), how are we going to compete without this type of player?
  16. :-( Shed a small tear on hearing the news this morning. Very few famous people have that effect on me.
  17. Profit. Capitalism is a great distributer of wealth... ;-)
  18. Calm down! There's still time. FFS
  19. How would ordinary members know confidential information like that...? ;-) Mine's a pint of Zambucca please. Flame optional
  20. Ok...let's cut to the chase.....Does anyone disagree with this statement: "Ideally, it would be good to have all the new players Adkins has identified that he needs to improve the squad signed and sealed before the start of pre-season training" ?
  21. Ah, ye olde 'exception that disproves the rule' ploy.... ;-)
  22. I must admit I'm in two minds about this. Part of me agrees that we should try and win this league with our current crop of players (afterall, we were told c.18 months ago that we were building a team that could not only escape from League One but one that could compete in the Championship) But the other part of me wants to push onto the next level as quickly as possible, which would mean injecting "Premier League Ready" players into the squad at this juncture rather than further down the line. Difficult one.
  23. "1 in 5 PCS members voted for strike action" Says it all really.
  24. Friday is London Pride day at the office.... that's the beauty of working in the private sector I guess...work one's ******** off for 4.5 days then chill on one's favourite football message board for the afternoon...
