  1. What's a hashtag? Be gentle with me - I've only just registered on Twitter for the first time today..... I couldn't work out how to 'follow' @officialsaints via my iPhone Twitter app (although I could do a search and look at what was being posted, both by the 'owner' of @officialsaints and the comments of those 'following'), so I logged on from my PC browser instead and was able to click on 'follow' @officialsaints from there. But, oddly, I could only see posts from @officialsaints on the website via my PC (i.e. I couldn't see the posts from everyone following, like I can on my iPhone). Give me a quill, ink and parchment paper any day!
  2. And no shirt sponsor....
  3. Hmmm.....Hoffenheim....Saints training not a million miles away from there (well, a 3.5 hour drive...)....potential loan to Napoli.....Cortese is Italian.....Saints only signing players with 'Z' in their name.....hmmmm..... 1+1+1+1+1 = ?
  4. Source = Saints coach driver? :-)
  5. Great to see the club are going to keep us posted on events on a daily basis. With recent observations/accusations about lack of communication flying around I had visions of two weeks of more threads on here about the club keeping us in the dark, but it would appear those fears are unfounded. Would be interested to see a list of all League 1 clubs and where they are for their pre-season training. I rather suspect there won't be many in such a spectacular location as this. Nice one SFC.
  6. Crikey....No Pardew in those pictures...da da daaaaa
  7. Football club supporters? Sycophantic? No, really? ;-)
  8. No dafty, that's Klose
  9. i'll let him know... ;-)
  10. it was 29th February this year
  11. If someone buying back a company that they previously steered into administration to avoid paying 80% of a huge debt is a legal activity in this country then I really do despair.
  12. Yup.... a.k.a. Dan Willians
  13. Did you ever benefit directly or indirectly from the financial sector boom?
  14. 'We' (the ordinary man in the street) didn't directly cause the crisis but as a society we all indirectly benefitted from the artificial banking boom in some shape or form. For example, my modest pension fund. Whilst 'banker bashing' is a natural and understandable human instinct in the circumstances we now face, the unpalatable truth is that 'we' (the ordinary man in the street) need the banking/financial system to recover as quickly as possible to get us out of the very mess that the unregulated system got us into in the first place. If all the remaining bankers are forced out to other territories through swingeing punishments then where does that leave, for example, my modest pension fund? I suppose I could join the clamour for retribution and wave goodbye to my retirement so that I can be a burdon on the state in later life...
  15. Downloaded latest Tapatalk update for iPhone a couple of days ago and it's not bombing out as much now. Happy days
  16. And not forgetting the 'ITV Local' interview video clip - double platinum star and a Muttley badge for anyone resurrecting that one :-)
  17. Whenever I've ordered before the parcel usually arrives within 48 hours. I've even received somethign the next day when ordered the previous morning. Happy Birthday by the way!
  18. Huzzah! (saved for posterity this time)
  19. There's been plenty of talk about Markus picking up a bargain when he bought SFC last year for, what was it....c.£14m? If he was to put the club up for sale now, what do people reckon the asking price would be?
  20. Didn't really want this thread to turn into a debate per se but hey ho....my reply to that would be: "if it was such an obvious bargain why was Mr Liebherr (aparently) the only serious 'investor' on the scene this time last year?" Doesn't add up to me.
  21. My mum gets pleasure out of buying me a birthday present but I quite often thank her for doing so..,.maybe she should be thanking me for being alive? HTH ;-)
  22. Duncan Banatyne: "so you haven't even got a prototype yet?" ;-)
