  1. no it wasn't ;-)
  2. Technically, there's only one possible answer to the question posed.
  3. Where does David Beckham fit into all this?
  4. 4 pages?
  5. She does indeed but, sadly, I'm only available on Tuesdays
  6. Phil, oh Phil...how could you forget the occasional semi-nude leotard clad images of Kate Bush?
  7. Yup. And I'm also stuck between Wimbledon and Waterloo. The only difference in our circumstances being that I was thinking about Peter Purves rather than Marian Pahars.
  8. it's a nice thought but I know my boss would be very wary about doing this because IF there was any trouble then he may end up losing his membership. I'm not suggesting anyone on here would fall into that bracket but it would still be a risk. Also, I think club wembley would frown upon it in principle, rightly or wrongly.
  9. No, you can book more than your usually club wembley membership allocation...(but only over the phone - the online club wembley system only let's you book up to your allocated number of seats)
  10. Nineteen Canteen puts forward a valid arguement in that our JPT exploits COULD have adversely affected our league form and, thus, ultimately damaged our promotion chances. Of course, the opposite COULD be true - i.e. Our JPT run COULD have galvanised our league performances. It's called having an opinion. IMHO of course....
  11. But only club wembley members can buy 'seat only' tickets at £58 each. There may well be wembley 'packages' available (e.g. The £199 quoted above) but club wembley seats (on a 'seat only' basis) can only be purchased through club wembley members. I bought my £58 club wembley seats through my company who are a club wembley member.
  12. It's the people who react to every negative post that confound me...
  13. But what is the actual problem? Wembley has a concentric concourse so how difficult can it be to erect temporary barriers at the appropriate points? (first person to mention 'elf 'n' safety gets a slap ;-) ) Isn't this simply a case of Wembley and/or The Football League trotting out the 'segregation' arguement to get them out of having to make late rearrangements depending on which teams make the final. Lowest common denominator and all that. It can only be a question of cost. Surely?
  14. Does anyone know what the segregation issues actually are? Are wembley saying they only have concourse barriers at the half way point rather than having flexible barrier points or could it be something daft like not hiring enough stewards? If it's the latter then perhaps Cortese could offer to pay for extra stewards?
