  1. Now I'm lost....
  2. And there was me thinking it was dusty bin....bugger
  3. So, just to re-cap then. We're all going to be drinking our own urine (or that of a friend) at the next game? Until our winning streak (pun intended) ends? Yes?
  4. Relatively trivial perhaps, but not a wind up per se. :):):)
  5. At least it was scalding enough to burn off one's mouth ulcers
  6. Does that include the people on here who were being 'honest' about our performances in our first 7 - 8 league games? Some people called it moaning and not getting behind the team....
  7. They serve nice coffee though
  8. So, a significant number of people leaving before the end of the game because it's a bugger to get out of the immediate vicinity efficiently isn't a significant issue? Look at the bigger picture. What may seem trivial on the surface can have wider and more significant knock on effects. 110% FACT
  9. And the burgers are p1ss poor. FFS.
  10. Thank **** for administration! ;-)
  11. Fair point. I would happily drink your man water if it meant promotion this year.
  12. Was off the beer at the game yesterday due to being on medication (about time I hear some say) so was drinking coffee instead. FFS catering people...please put more than 3 grains of nescafe in each cup! Even the beer will taste good after that crap! Come on markus and nicola... Now you've sorted out the team time to tackle some of the simpler stuff. Like building a bigger bridge over the railway line. I'm sure more would stay on to watch the end of the game if they knew it wouldn't take half hour to crawl back home over a bridge designed to carry 3 people per minute. Oh, and the white support beams around the outside of the stadium are getting greener with water mold by the week. bit of a spruce up perhaps? Cheers me old mucker!
  13. just got home from the game (via the scenic route) and that was one thing that I was going to comment on. Can't remember the last time so many people stuck around after the players had left the pitch and carried on chanting for so long. Hair on back of neck moment for me. The corner has well and truely been turned.
  14. I started taking my lad to this corner last season because he was getting to that age where he wanted to be "at the singing end rather than the boring end" (his words!). And the kingsland/northam was an excellent vompromse as it got him closer to the "singing" without being in the thick of it. But he was chuffed today as we inadvertently found ourselves in a livelier corner!
  15. The kingsland/northam corner was much livelier today than I remember it last season. Made for a great atmosphere IMO
  16. Cracking game. Now in Pompey territory to watch a COAST gig.
  17. I think I just broke it by trying to tap into it via the iPhone
  18. Greetings from st mary's. Wifi and 3G service rubbish as usual!
  19. Thanks for that but, alas, we're still none the wiser on the cuckoo clock front
  20. I wouldn't necessarily describe it as a family boozer but I've taken my 9 year old into the King Alfred near the ground on match-days before. They don't seem to mind as long as you keep them away from the bar area. Gets a bit crowded mind! Edit: ah, just seen you want food too....scracth that - they do a BBQ outside but not sure if they do that during the colder months?!
  21. Do us a favour and predict a Dons win.....please!
  22. We gotta start becoming one of those teams in the lower leagues where winning becomes a habbit and very regular. We're on the brink of such a position now. A draw or loss today would be hugely disappointing (he said stating the obvious!) Saints to win 2-1 COYR!!!
  23. The one about whether Max Cradle is joining us or not? :-)
