  1. Didn't MacMenemy and Keegan in particular stick up for Pardew though? Not sure as I didn't read 'them' articles...
  2. I can't imagine to which Saints Fans Forum he might be alluding/responding to there...?!
  3. To those who have seen a copy, does this OS piece form the basis of what he wrote in the last matchday programme? Or has it been tweaked perhaps....?
  4. Ouch....if only Nineteen Canteen was here to comment.... :-)
  5. Couldn't they have taken a new photo of him? That's from September FFS.... ;-)
  6. I'm still reading this morning that the bank of England are actively encouraging the new government to start cuts straight away. Am I missing something somewhere?
  7. Do we know if these 'free flights' were originally offered as a supplement to their salary or have they always been offered as a potentially retractable perk?
  8. The conservative logo is a nice touch though :-)
  9. I've heard he's got a top drawer wave
  10. Ah, cheers. Fairly official then :-)
  11. They were giving a run out to a lad by the name of Skacel. He looked a bit tasty. I think we may well end up signing him. Might take a while to tie things up though
  12. I saw Keegan in the Spurs car park
  13. Looks good. Is that official or a mock up?
  14. Ok, time to cut to the chase....Can someone please articulate, in a few succinct bullet points, what it is the union are asking for and not getting? Thanks
  15. Only if it falls on Boxing Day
  16. You try doing links on this crap excuse for a mobile computer (aka iPhone) :-)
  17. I can concur with this. I'm working on a project at the moment where the 'legacy' staff are (educated estimate) having to work three times as hard as five years ago to make up for the ineptitude of the "cheaper" on-shore and off-shore outsource resources. (not that they weren't working 'hard' in the first place) The trouble is, the powers that be see a low chargeout rate on a spreadsheet somewhere but don't see the impact in the shop floor. The project I'm working on is over-running by c.4 months and the lions share of that is due to outsourcing. It's a complete false economy run by people with a vested interest to keep the outsourcing contracts going,
  18. Tree hugger ;-)
  19. Yay...found the quotes from mervyn king about how promising he thinks the con-lib plans are: Trousers back in the game in extra time. Come on Trousers! ;-)
  20. But, of course, if the con-lib budget measures are followed by another double-dip we'll never know whether another approach would have been better or worse. (apart from the 'theoreticals' of different experts of course). Not that that will stop the critics looking at it in absolute rather than relative terms of course. You may have won 'pick a quote' for today but I hereby claim first prize for the most "of course"s in one post
  21. Ta. I just saw a breaking news thingamy on t'telly out of corner of my eye earlier. I think you may just have won 'pick a quote' for today though.
  22. What date was that?
  23. Whereas the head of the very Bank that he advises said today that the new government had "strong" policies to deal with the situation. I like this 'pick a quote' game. Your go :-)
  24. More Tory cuts too...they even cut the temperature to 10 year low last night. -5 degrees C....WTF is that all about. Bring back Labour and global warming FFS
