  6. I morally support both protests, but agree that a 'march away/boycott' protest would have a greater impact than a 'march to/attend' protest. (if both were of the same scale and thus comparable on a like-for-like basis) FWIW, I think it was a shame that the thread starter felt it necessary to include an opinion on what protest was best as it set the scene for the tone of the thread thereafter. A simple declaration that both protests are complimentary would have been less contentious opening post IMHO
  7. The same Hungarians that Steve Morgan and Wolves have forged a relationship with....?
  8. Sorry, just laughed out loud at the roof line... I'm also just a tad concerned that you don't seem to know who or what your "friends" are....
  9. Ah...just noticed the "as far as we are aware" caveat. So, if the local rag isn't 100% certain then there's still every hope....I suggest we run for another 6 pages just in case....
  10. No worries. Just enjoy the notoriety for years to come! Might as well out your friend, and whoever told him, now though? Eye-for-an-eye and all that....name and shame I say!

  23. "Welcome to St Mary's where Southampton entertain Manchester United in the 3rd round of the FA Cup. And we start with news that the majority of Southampton fans have boycotted the game in protest against Rupert Lowe and the major shareholder who keep him at the helm. Which is precisely why you can see thousands upon thousands of empty seats tonight. What a pivotal and influencial message this must be sending to the Southampton boardroom and in front of a worldwide TV audience. It wouldn't surprise me if the board resigned en masse in the morning and set this once great club back on the road to recovery as a result"
