It all sounds as far fetched as SFC's OS not reporting a 5-2 win in a recent friendly.....
-
Has St David been invited on the local radio station yet? I'd ask Saintlee but he's still on a plumbing job in Hull without any electricity and internet access.

Does it mention when the 2007 accounts will be published, given they must be late too?

Source? Ta

In takeover land it's called "legs" not "mileage". Keep up...

Wives and Bristols. Am I missing something here?

Selling a £30m debt (or whatever the figure is) for £10 would seem like a good deal to me....
-
Perhaps we've all been stitched up with this rumour? (ha ha)
-
Why is it that when one does a search on the OS for "Ujpest" it says 6 occurrences found yet there are no links to the articles it has supposedly found.....? I wish they wouldn't encourage conspiracy theorists in this manner.

No, but the Farm is bigger than his arm.... (sorry, couldn't resist)

Hmmm...interesting....which, as you say, could put Jackson's Farm in the frame Hmmm

What do the FA rules say about said bloke using a family member as a conduit? (for example)

That would be telling....

Made me chuckle.... With Liverpool still ignoring his advances, the former Redrow boss is turning his attention to a new land-purchase venture. We meet a man throwing himself into his work … This might not be the best time to meet Steve Morgan. It is just a few days after the construction magnate’s beloved Liverpool FC were beaten 2-0 by serial relegation dodger Southampton, and the defeat still clearly pains him. “We made them look like Real Madrid,” he grumbles. http://www.building.co.uk/story.asp?storyCode=3046617 A miracle worker....just what we need....
-
Morgan is more renowned for buying poor quality / toxic land and regenerating it

p.s. would also explain why we were able to turn down offers for players in the transfer window....?

Cheers for that. Seems strange that none of the National media picked up on this as it sounds pretty newsworthy to me. Interesting too that Swain doesn't clarify the 'owning two clubs' conundrum. Indeed, he implies that Morgan would retain a vested interest in Wolves...? Also, it looks like the dates tie in with the "story" about the Ujpest friendly being moved to SMS to shop-window Saints to a potential investor. Hmmmm...... (he said for the third time today)

http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/articles/article.php?page_id=11342 Saints' match in Jersey this evening has been postponed due to a waterlogged pitch, and the team have not made the trip to the Channel Islands. The decision was taken late this morning, with the team already at the airport, and comes on the back of Saturday's first team match against Watford also being postponed due to bad weather. Interesting to see an obscure reserve team match getting much more publicity on the OS than a slightly less obscure 1st team friendly match against a Hungarian top league side (who we happened to beat 5-2); a game which was reportedly switched to SMS to shmooze a potential investor and which coincidentally happened to be the last game that Poortvliet started in charge... Innocent inconsistent coverage of Saints friendlies on the OS or...."something else"....? Hmmm.... p.s. the Wolves website had several reports and pictures from THEIR friendly with Ujpest. When was the last time the club didn't sing a 5 - 2 victory from the rooftops....? Hmmmmm..... (again)

Friday 13th?

Instead of writing letters to himself perhaps? Allegedly

Cheers for the update. Appreciated. Any idea roughly when this was published and if it went in the online version? (can't find anything on here after a brief search: http://www.expressandstar.com/archive/sport/wolves/ ) cheers again

Perhaps Lowe is planning on singing this at his last game before the administrators take over....? And now, the end is near; And so I face the final curtain. My friend, Ill say it clear, Ill state my case, of which Im certain. Ive lived a life thats full. Ive traveled each and evry highway; And more, much more than this, I did it my way. Regrets, Ive had a few; But then again, too few to mention. I did what I had to do And saw it through without exemption. I planned each charted course; Each careful step along the byway, But more, much more than this, I did it my way. Yes, there were times, Im sure you knew When I bit off more than I could chew. But through it all, when there was doubt, I ate it up and spit it out. I faced it all and I stood tall; And did it my way. Ive loved, Ive laughed and cried. Ive had my fill; my share of losing. And now, as tears subside, I find it all so amusing. To think I did all that; And may I say - not in a shy way, No, oh no not me, I did it my way. For what is a man, what has he got? If not himself, then he has naught. To say the things he truly feels; And not the words of one who kneels. The record shows I took the blows - And did it my way!
