Would it make you happier if we all agreed that your opinion is 'right' and any alternative opinion is 'wrong'?
-
That's all very well and good, but kindly keep your facts to yourself in future rather than trying to spread them on here. Final warning.

Actually, I've changed my mind. This is the winner 😂

Cracking address from the King earlier I thought

Why are humans seemingly obsessed with labelling things as 'right' or 'wrong'. Surely it's just different opinions?

Ha! We have a winner

Fair points.

Isn't everyone with an opinion one way or the other saying this? (Hence why most debates of this nature are ultimately futile)

A decision that would inevitably give rise to polarised opinions. I'm not a fan of labelling people as this, that or the other, but being a "Royalist" I'm happy with the decision to uphold the 'old fashioned' protocols and traditions associated with the death of the monarch, as illogical or irrational as they may be. That said, if they had decided to go ahead with the games, that would've have been fine by me too. If that makes me more of a pragmatist than most, then so be it. I can think of more important things to get upset or annoyed about than whether or not a game of football goes ahead, but respect that others have alternative takes on it.

Yep, although back then we had two midfield players to fall-back on who had been in the squad together for over a year (Romeu & Diallo). If JWP is out on Saturday then we'll be relying on a fairly green midfield partnership.

If the player says "no" to the buy back request, does that terminate the buy back clause there and then or can the club keep coming back with a buy back request as many times as it likes (within any designate timeframe window). In other words, do they have just one buy-back 'card' they can play (per player) or more than one? I'm just thinking of a contrived example where we have a player that is valued at, say, £80m on the open market and a club with a £40m buy-back option.... Could we say to the player: "hey lad, say 'no' to the buy-back and we'll slip you a £10m 'reward' before selling you for £80m to this other club"...?

They've been in the market for a player of Redmond's ilk for a while now though

I thought outfield players from teams in the North West were allowed to use their hands in their own penalty area...?

I thought the words Ralph used, and the tone thereof, came across very reasonably in that article. I didn't detect anything patronising, just common sense advice. Well, thats how it read to me anyway

Yep, looks more like Bragg based on his OS mugshot... Which would probably explain Bragg training with the first team....? Seems a bit odd otherwise, as I don't recall Bragg's name coming up before in terms of academy players that are on the fringe of the first team...
