  1. Typical decent start. Shame there's 87 minutes to go...
  2. Good effort JWP
  3. Lots of empty seats around the ground?
  4. I've just signed up to Now.TV for £25 to watch the game. Now *that's* madness right there.
  5. I've always had a Motorola. Don't see the point in paying 3+ times more for Samsung, iPhone, etc.
  6. All very bizarre
  7. Pompey (One for the older folk)
  8. Seems to be quite skillful for a CB
  9. I want to hear how Mick Channon pronounces his name before I make a judgement
  10. I always park here... (Usually full at least an hour before kick off though)
  11. House!
  12. Always good to tie up the nice son-in-law types IMO...
  13. Don't most 'unreputable' football transfer accounts in Twitterland usually have a track record of posting bollocks...? I would venture its quite unusual for someone to go to the trouble of creating a Twitter account just to post an obscure/random tweet (umlaughts an' all), especially about about lil' ol' Southampton. The fact that its a lone tweet could, somewhat counter-intuatively perhaps, add some credence to it.... There again, it could indeed be a load of old bow locks.
  14. It's the false reason that you gave for the £50m supposedly not being available that MLG was picking you up on, not your opinion that the £50m might not be available per se...
  15. No, it's not an opinion, MLG is stating a fact.
  16. Bit of a bombshell. Saw him live a few years ago. Very funny man. Thought he looked ill on more recent episodes of 8 out of 10 cats, but didn't realise he had cancer. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-58254859
  17. Yep, said the same last week. Seems common sense to me (on a one year deal).
  18. He looks a tad more shouty than your average son-in-law, so that'll please some people
  19. I think this is where I'm leaning towards now, although I'm always inclined to give a manager up to c.10 games at the start of a given season before calling for them to go. Yes, I know we've arguably got all the evidence we already need about Ralph's pedigree, given the woeful second half of last season, so there's some merit to the "why wait, get rid of him now" camp, but there's still a possibiliy he could rekindle the successful first half of last season but without the wheels falling off the wagon half way through again. That said, I agree that his apparent lack of tactical agility, especially in the second half of games, is a significant issue. So, in summary, I'm struggling to get my arse of this fence that I'm currently sitting on!
  20. No-one is saying he can't make interceptions, we're just interested in how good he is at it based on % success rate. Over the last 12 months, I've hit the fairway off the tee 84 times. Does that make me good at driving a golf ball off the tee or do you need to know how many times I missed the fairway too in order to make a judgement?
  21. I wondered if anyone would notice that he conveniently skipped over that point
  22. Yep, would be my first choice, if we can afford him
