  1. That's blimmin' annoying. Wolves haven't won in the league since 2nd Feb and play their next game (away to Chelsea) in 8 days, so you'd have thought they would have gone at this one all guns blazing to secure a victory
  2. Redmond, with JWP and Bednarek coming up on the rails
  3. I guess we earmark a few more than the 18 match day squad number for each game in case of last minute injuries, which is probably why the likes of Slattery didn't feature in either the last (and this) U23 squad nor the final 18 senior squad.
  4. Sims not in the U23 squad for tonight's game. Ex- England senior squad member in goal though...
  5. Copycat
  6. If there's not much hope of the 'park the bus' approach working, then perhaps we've nothing to lose by going for a more gung-ho approach? Apart from goal-difference damage limitation I guess? I've always felt we've done better against the 'big 6' when we give it a go rather than sit back. (although, I accept that we arguably no longer have the calibre of offensive player required for a more positive approach)
  7. https://www.theguardian.com/football/2019/feb/28/notts-county-winding-up-petition-hmrc-alan-hardy Quick... someone give them Miss Moneypenny's number.... she'll sort it for them....
  8. Ranieri sacked
  9. He has an outside chance of getting a call up for the March games IMO. Maybe Redmond too.... I'm sure there's someone in the England set-up that'll put a good word in for them....
  10. https://www.dailyecho.co.uk/sport/17466409.mccarthy-wants-to-talk-to-southampton-star-nathan-redmond/ MICK McCarthy is keen to meet with Saints ace Nathan Redmond. The Republic of Ireland boss wants to see whether Redmond would be interested in playing for the national side.

  12. Injuries/fitness allowing, I assume we'll start with the same 11 as tonight. Sneaky 1-1 draw
  13. Whilst Fulham were poor, it was a composed performance from us. Bednarek my MotM - didn't put a foot wrong IMO. Good to see Yoshida slotting seemlessly back into the defence too. Midfield very solid. Up front? Shame that Redmond seems to have gone off the boil a bit after his renaissance under Hassenhuttl in December/January. Looks like we're going to have to rely on goals from midfield to keep ourselves afloat. Got a feeling we might sneak a draw up at Old Trafford.
  14. Not quite...
  15. That's the sort of goal we usually concede
  16. Get in!!!!!
  17. Grapes, my arse P.s. *they're not there
  18. Good question. Whilst Sims hasn't yet had chance to prove himself at Premier League level, he's always struck me as the kind of attacking/industrious midfielder that would suit Hassenhuttl's style of play. One can only assume that Ralph, having seen him in training, has come to the conclusion he's not up to Premier League standard. That said, Elyanoussi doesn't seem to be of Premier League standard either, so a tad baffling why Sims isn't given a go.
  19. Any news on the Pope's religion?
