  1. Injured I believe. Along with Sims.
  2. Hojbjerg getting a run out but not Clasie. Suggests, perhaps, that the latter is off?
  3. And only one Markus Liebherr too
  4. Not forgetting the several meltdowns we've had along the way to keep the SWF doom and gloom merchants happy
  5. Have just seen tweets from a week or so ago saying that Liverpool are looking to sign him. Surely we sign Liverpool destined players a couple of years before they end up there?!
  6. Agree that 24 is top end of "young", but still ticks several "Typical Saints Signing" boxes IMO.
  7. No idea who this John Harriott fella is, and whether or not he's reliable, but 'for the record' in case there's any truth in it... John Harriott‏ @JHFootballAgent Southampton are looking at Gremio wonder kid Luan #saintsfc --------------------------------------------------------------------------- http://www.goal.com/brasilglobaltour/en/news/5457/brasil-global-tour/2017/08/14/37786332/why-luan-is-a-brazilian-gem Sounds like the sort of player we usually go for.... relatively unknown, had a few set-backs, lots of promise, etc... He could be just what we're looking for: Designed to break down defensive sides who set out only to spoil, he was introduced to float around the front three, offering better angles for the quick passing exchanges and join a previously fragmented midfield to the front line. "He is like a bridge, connecting two pieces together," said the great Tostao. Scolari labelled Luan a “game-changer” - and that’s exactly what he is. Luan doesn’t win games, he changes them, enabling others to do so. He has that rare ability to make everyone else better. It took a while, but Brazil has caught on. Luan is now widely regarded as arguably the league’s best player. Tostao went on to insist: "Luan is among the top five Brazilian players today." And Tite is now on board, too, last week adding Luan to his Brazil squad for World Cup qualifying. So if your club doesn’t try to sign Luan this transfer window, it’s likely because they just weren’t looking hard enough. They wouldn’t be the first.
  8. I think it was an observation rather than a complaint
  9. I'm sure he'll be here to tell us all about it soon...
  10. 我 們 前 進 了
  11. Despite reaching the heady heights of Division 3, I see their video production levels are still as tinpot as ever... http://www.portsmouth.co.uk/sport/football/pompey/watch-kenny-jackett-press-conference-1-8102125 And shouldn't they be changing that picture in the background to say "theirs" rather than "ours"...?
  12. Mark Clattenburg disagrees with you. He said we should have been awarded two penalties
  13. Four years ago today...
  14. And there was me thinking the quality of journalism had plummeted the last few years. Faith restored...
  15. Yep, lots of schoolboy errors in his posts at the moment. Needs to be more subtle in his approach. It's a work in progress though so I don't think we should be too judgemental quite yet.
  16. Mark Clattenburg was just on the radio and stated that we should have had two penalties, so yes, a bit odd that we're not talking more about it.
  17. Back from the game. Decent performance. Swansea parked the bus and got the result they came for. We'll win more of these type of games than we draw IMO. First game of the season... Nothing to lose sleep about (unless your name is 'Alpine Saint' of course!) Can't decide on my MotM... a toss up between Yoshida, Stephens and Romeu. P.s. the ref was an utter buffoon
