  1. Cup double. 2-1 Saints
  2. trousers

    Puel

Any reason why a certain SWF fraternity aren't posting tonight? Still, I imagine the mods are on top of it....
  3. I don't think runners up in the league cup qualify, but I could be wrong
  4. Here here
  5. Fair play sir. Much respect
  6. I watched the game in a pub in Surrey and 80% of the fans there were supporting the Scousers (yep, typical Surrey pub!)... I went a bit mental when Shane scored the goal. Was worth it to see the pub empty at that point though. On the verge of tears here now sitting at home. Soppy old date Trousers
  7. Congratulations!!!!
  8. Just back from the pub. I'm so ****ing happy!!!! Claude Puel... Tactical genius!!
  9. The quieter the club is about an injury the longer the player is typically out for so, yes, 3 months would fit the current radio silence (although, in this instance, that could just have been to keep Liverpool guessing about our line up tonight I suppose)
  10. I guess Bertrand would be our makeshift CB replacement if either get injured, with McQueen slotting into left back? Or would Romeu drop back into defence?
  11. There aren't any trolls on this forum
  12. Have you ever thought about a career change into football management Alps? I reckon you'd be a natural
  13. So, not at home flower arranging then?
  14. I would say the opposite. We tend to get very little news from the club these days when someone has a long term injury or is taking ages to regain fitness. Exhibit A m'lud...... recent examples: Gardos, JRod & McCarthy.
  15. Next Tuesday. They've got Wolves in the FA cup this weekend
  16. Sarge? Rosemary the telephone operator?
  17. Not withstanding that Puel has only "rotated" 2.7 players on average from league game to league game throughout the course of the season (or only 1.6 players per game if you discount the hectic December/January period)...
  18. As others have suggested, I would venture that you're misinterpreting what the Sky reporter was saying (or perhaps he didn't articulate it as clearly as he could've). I suspect this is more about Napoli's value being "too much" rather than anything to do with our ability to pay, per se.
  19. Kaveh Solhekol ‏@SkyKaveh Southampton talking to Napoli today about signing striker Manolo Gabbiadini. Napoli want £17 million. Too much for Southampton.
