  1. They keep Andrew Davies in the St Marys attic?
  2. I've heard from my sources the future fee is £1.3m
  3. This http://footballsuperstars.com/
  4. That article from the Watford Observer was published 4 hours ago. With no confirmation still from either club it seems possible there was a late approach from Norwich which prevented the loan going through.
  5. Its been breaking for a long time now. Maybe Norwich really have come in at the last minute and asked for a delay.
  6. How many season tickets have we sold so far? Can you provide a link showing the amount please
  7. People seem to be forgetting! The club said during the summer when the new management team was first announced that we wouldn't get a loan players when it would block the progress of our own young players in the same position. A decent player on loan would also cost money, i.e. his wages and a loan fee.
  8. The large number of players that aren't in the matchday squad of 18
  9. The 2nd Round draw takes place live on Sky Sports tonight, following the conclusion of the Wycombe Wanderers v Birmingham City tie, with an approximate time of 10pm (later if extra time and penalties are needed) All 32 winners from last night's ties will be joined in the draw by the four victors in this evening's fixtures. And twelve Premier League sides will also enter the fray, will all clubs competing in Europe - bar Manchester City - given a bye into the third round. The Football League has confirmed that tonight's draw will be seeded on last season's finishing positions in the league. A pre-draw will determine whether the non-seeds will play at home or away, and all seeded teams will then be plucked out of the hat to make up the fixtures. The line-up is as follows:- SEEDS Manchester City Blackburn Rovers West Ham United Newcastle United Middlesbrough Wigan Athletic Sunderland Bolton Wanderers Fulham Reading Birmingham City (or Wycombe Wanderers) Derby County West Brom Stoke City Hull City Bristol City Crystal Palace Watford Wolves Ipswich Town Sheffield United (or Port Vale) Cardiff City Burnley QPR (Should Birmingham or Sheffield United be beaten tonight, Preston North End will become seeds. Should both Birmingham City and Sheffield United be beaten, Preston North End and Southampton will become seeds) NON-SEEDS Preston North End Southampton Coventry City or Aldershot Leicester City Colchester United Swansea City Nottingham Forest or Morecambe Carlisle United Leeds United Brighton & HA Oldham Athletic Northampton Town Huddersfield Town Hartlepool United Yeovil Town Cheltenham Town Crewe Alexandra Luton Town MK Dons Darlington Rotherham United Grimsby Town Macclesfield Town Notts County Teams entering in round three are as follows:- Arsenal, Aston Villa, Chelsea, Everton, Liverpool, Manchester United, Portsmouth, Tottenham Hotspur. So the question is; Do we want Sheff Utd/Brum to lose us to be a seed and play a small side or Saints to not be a seed and play a big club at St Marys for example and get more cash?
  10. We might be, depends on tonights matches
  11. According to ITV he is Irish, thats news to me
  12. No it was true. They didn't show every game
  13. Many games were't even shown so we were lucky for once Also McGoldrick is now Irish according to ITV
  14. That isn't a question
  15. 1) If it were football league cups including the conference then it wouldn't be a "League Cup" 2) There is already a cup comp for League 1 and League 2 cups = Johnstone's Paint Trophy 3) There are cup comps for Conference clubs = Sentana Shield and the FA Trophy 4) I'm not sure if the league cup has ever been won by a team not in the top flight. If they did it was a long time ago. So the Premiership teams do take it seriously once they start to progress. 5) The revenue small teams get from playing against Premiership teams is vital in some cases and gives the fans something to look forward to
  16. You can't really include friendlies So its 3 goals in 2 games
  17. It is 5 subs in the FA cup and League cup 7 subs is just for the Premiership, UEFA Cup and Champions League That list is the Saints match day squad which is always 18 players. Two of them won't be in the match 16 of course and are there in case of pre game injures and need to be added.
  18. No, he had a 1 match ban for 2 yellows in the Sheff Utd game Thus he is NOT suspended anymore after missing the Cardiff game
  19. Bart is playing
  20. I bet they don't. Davies and Svensson are the first choices and once they are fully fit, Perry and Wotton won't get look in.
  21. Good, will suit our style aswell. I can only hope it doesn't rain like it did in Cardiff.
  22. What condition is the pitch like at the moment at St James' Park?
  23. Jan in an interview with Saints TV today has announced that the starting XI for the Exeter game will be as follows... Bialkowski James Perry Wotton Surman Gillett Schneiderlin Thomson Lallana Holmes McGoldrick
  24. I doubt we did. More likely the "journalist" did some poor research and got his previous club and teams in for him mixed up in an attempt to make it look like a job well done for Doncaster.
  25. No chance Svensson will play. I think the squad should be a mixture of his first XI and fringe players. Something like... Bialkowski Hatch Thomas Perry Mills Wotton Gillett Wright-Phillips Lallana Dyer John Subs; Davis Surman McGoldrick Schneiderlin Holmes
