He didn't say a 'youngster'. He said someone younger than Alderweireld. Not the same thing. A 25 year old is younger than Alderweireld, but isn't a 'youngster'.
You have confused what I said.
The human eye evoled from a flat bed of light sensitive cells which in later generations of animal became a ball. The light passes through blood vessels which pass in front of the retina. This is due to the eye changing shape from being flat to a ball. It isn't optimal and far from a 'perfect design'.
Not an extensive list then! Of that list only McCarthy, Adams and Redmond are likely starters.
Adams in particular and Redmond are both a class above Championship level players. Redmond of course is frustratingly inconsistent, but on form he is a useful PL player.
I doubt he'd be remotely affordable for us. Linked with some of the elite European teams and has 4 years left on his contract.

Redmond is not incompetent. He is massively and frustratingly inconsistent. When he is on form he is a very good player and a big asset for Saints. It is just those games are rare.
You should watch some highlights videos to get an idea of him at his best. Of course it comes with a caveat of being a highlights reel but it will still give you an idea of what he is capable off on a good day.
There is no chance Saints can sign a player who has already recently scored 22 PL goals in a season. So signing players like Adams and Armstrong and developing them is the way to go.
