I find the "too small" reason hard to believe. He joined Saints not too long after Nathan Dyer and Theo Walcott and the club was fine with their height. They aren't going to write off a 10-year-old before puberty because of his height, it will be because they misjudged his overall ability/potential to improve or his attitude wasn't what they were looking for and has since changed.

His lack of assists, chances created and goals highlights a lack of positive input. He still clearly is a talented player but in terms of productivity, Saints didn't benefit much from his creativity.

It is by implication writing them off, as it is saying the replacements leave us weaker than last season.

Not in the Premier League he isn't. He has struggled to impress any time he has managed in the top flight, he is a very good Championship manager.

Boufal ended up not being particularly creative! Where as Tadic is our 2nd biggest PL assist maker behind Le Tissier.
