Gao bought the club for pro rata £260m. How many local businessmen can get remotely near that kind of price? Even in the Championship, with the assets it has and the parachute payments the club is worth a lot more than most local businessmen fans can afford.

Lets also be fair to her... when she inherited the club Saints were in League One. She invested a lot more than her father did and helped get the club to the Premier League. Clearly the selling of 80% of the club to Gao to take us to a new level was ********.
