tbf to him I struggle to see why not resigning means he isn't a 'nice bloke'. If you were him would you honestly walk away from millions of pounds in wages... really? It is not like he is likely to get another job as well paid as he is currently any time soon given the disaster he has been.

Can you talk me through how exactly the parachute payments will go to Gao? The parachute payments are effectively a much smaller payment of the Premier League TV money, they largely go to player wages not the owner.

Mitchell was himself a Les Reed appointment. Does Reed get credit for that? Plus Mitchell was under Reed and both were part of the recruitment committee.

I know when every player joined ffs. He joined in April 2010, we have signed a lot of players that have been very good for us since then. I've not said he is currently doing a good job, the last two seasons have been poor.

I think you need to look closer to home for that. Reed has played a key role in the club from 2010, many good signings and the Koeman appointment. He has messed up since Koeman left.

He deserves a lot of credit for 2010 to 2016. Post 2016 a lot of mistakes have been made.

They aren't really comparable... given they don't have the same role. Plus Lowe was a major shareholder and Reed isn't.

Ian Branfoot at least had the excuse most of his squad was **** (although that makes it all the more daft he dropped Le Tissier). But Pellegrino takes ineptitude to a whole new level!

Players can be sold even if we stay up. I still think the player quality is good, we just need a competent manager. Relegation = disaster for the club, which makes it all the more amazing Pellegrino hasn't been sacked!

He has a large wage to buy his bling. That doesn't mean people can justify claims he gets a bonus for selling players, I find that hard to believe.

This is all kinds of crazy. Saints would have significantly more money if they stay up and the value of the club as an asset wouldn't plummet. The 'parachute money' is just a lot less TV money than we would get if we stayed up.
