  1. Are they going? He is only 29 years old, he isn't exactly past it... nor would he be cheap.
  2. Do you regularly goto Eastleigh games? Football Manager is looking for an Eastleigh researcher for FM19. Details of what it involves and how to apply can be found in the link below. Plus you can ask me any questions you have. https://community.sigames.com/topic/381687-fm-research-vacancies-how-to-contact-head-researchers-and-how-to-get-involved/?tab=comments#comment-10478391
  3. I meant 2 more points. It is possible for us to stay up on 34 points, with a draw vs Everton & Swansea and defeat vs Man City.
  4. It is possible for Saints to stay up with only 2 more points... Swansea lose to Bournemouth Swansea draw with Saints Swansea lose to Stoke Saints draw with Everton Saints draw with Swansea Saints lose to Man City Stoke lose to Palace Stoke beat Swansea West Brom fail to beat both Spurs and Palace Which would see Saints stay up, bar a big swing in goal difference... 17th Saints 34 points ....... 18th Swansea 34 points 19th Stoke 33 points
  5. It is a rule every player in Spain has to have a release clause fee in their contract. Just because Sisto's is £36m it doesn't mean you couldn't sign him for less than that.
  6. How we did vs Everton in 1971 or 1996 has no bearing on what will happen at the weekend.
  7. 28th April 2018 - St Portsmouth Day A movable feast like Easter, that usually falls in March, April or May. It is the day it became mathematically impossible for Southampton to play Portsmouth in a league game until August 2019 at the earliest.
  8. 'Faith' is the excuse people give when they are not supported with good evidence, if you had good evidence you wouldn't need faith.
  9. Why is it a **** up? Bertrand is better than Targett. If Targett hadn't gone on loan it is unlikely he'd have played a minute thus far for Saints in the league. McQueen is fine to be the back up for the rest of the season.
  10. No, it is an opinion.
  11. Best help I can give is to tell you the game and coach travel is not tomorrow... the game is on Sunday!
  12. We came 6th in 2016 only playing one striker. It isn't the number of strikers that is the problem.
  13. i) After QPR's 2013 relegation they sold... 2 first team players (Samba & Mackie) ii) After QPR's 2015 relegation they sold... 2 first team players (McCarthy & Austin) Everyone else that left did so because it was the end of their contract, free transfer or retired.
  14. If Gabbiadini had done something wrong then Carrillo would be on the bench. No mention of Carrillo being ill or injured, so appears Gabbiadini preferred over him.
  15. Does your imagination not extend beyond Norwich connections or Hoddle?
  16. Why Championship experience for manager and players? A game is between two clubs, the league is just a label for the game it has no baring on the outcome. If Saints are relegated and have a team and manager next season that has only ever previously been in the top flight why is that a bad thing?
  17. Why are you fine with relegation? It will be a disaster for the club.
  18. Lemina is injured and Boufal is ill. How are those things his fault? The signing of Carrillo, sure blame him. But not the other two.
  19. What evidence to you have to jump to that conclusion?
  20. Normally confuses football fans in stadium when you say the 62nd minute, they start it at 62:00.
  21. So from 61:00 to 61:59?
  22. In front of Alex McCarthy's goal to stop us conceding 3 for the 5th game in a row...
  23. Does sitting on the bench help develop a 20 year old keeper who now has a season under his belt any further? It would be better to send him to a decent League One club and get regular game-time.
  24. You've stated as if fact... but is it based on anything other than the Sun article? An article which doesn't actually do as you say and say a bid has actually been made. That hasn't existed since 2003/04. When 2nd tier of English football was called the First Division.
  25. No it isn't. 2015/16 Gap from Saints to 4th place = 3 points Gap from Arsenal to Leicester = 10 points Saints were 1 win in a 38 game season away from being level on points with 4th place. If you finish a 38 game season 1 win away from being level on points for a position... then you were clearly contenders for it!
