Here is an eye opener for you. CEOs of football clubs do not have the exact same duties as each other, it can vary considerably. There are some core things most do, but in other other areas their job role can look very different with delegations to others particularly the bigger the club is.

Ruling Lampard out for a Pompey "connection" is bizarre. He is not a blood relative of Harry Redknapp, and even if he was... so what? Lampard has never played for or managed Pompey. Ruling out candidates due to association to rival clubs by their uncles makes little sense.
