Football Manager 2012 - updates thread
Matthew Le God replied to Saint_clark's topic in Computer Games
Why does it matter if it is "too in depth"? Most (if not all) of these things can be allocated to your assistant so don't matter if you don't like doing them. Had they not been included they would only have been simulated in some other way behind the scenes so doesn't really matter either way. -
Llana (or Lallana as he prefers to be known ) was training yesterday.
-
I maybe wrong, but I didn't notice Connolly in the two Saints Player videos. Pretty much everyone else was there though (bar long term injuries Jaidi and Seaborne).

iirc some supporters went to Staplewood with the squad after the Plymouth game. There were photos of them and Cortese posted on this forum.
-
How trustworthy is this mate of yours Saint Garrett? Is he at all likely to have made this all up?
-
iirc the architect that did the youtube video of St Mary's expanded said that they considered moving to a new stadium in Shamrock Quay. If true then it really isn't that far in terms of distance from where it is now.
-
If an application has gone in, it hasn't reached the planning section on the councils website yet... http://publicaccess.southampton.gov.uk/PublicAccess/propdb/property/property_history_summary.aspx?blpukeyval=002MC5OZBU000&lpikeyval=00253AOZLI000&module=P3&historymodule=DC

Yes, quite a few people have in other threads about stadium improvements.
-
That 44k is the capacity he feels Saints can achieve in terms of support. Also, "plans" don't come cheap, he would have paid an architect firm a great deal of money for them.
-
Of course, but it does show the capacity he is considering.
-
CB Fry, Egg and other doubters etc etc care to comment? (if Saint Garrett's mate is telling the truth of course)
-
Because they had a gentleman's agreement they would wait until the press conference, which they then broke.
-
Benefit of a fans dinner is it is more likely Cortese might get tipsy and reveal more about the club than he would at a sober fans forum live on BBC Solent.
-
It is actually worse than the article at the top of the page suggests... http://www.reuters.com/article/2011/11/16/lithuania-snoras-takeover-idUSS3E7KT00320111116 The central bank said it had found irregularities. "The decision was taken due to a risk of insolvency and possible criminal activity," said central bank governor Vitas Vasiliauskas. "During an inspection we have found that a significant amount of securities held at foreign institutions were missing. When we asked those foreign insitutions about the securities, they replied that they did not exist," he said.

And people said this thread was dead...
-
Why do you think it is "unlikely" it was on police orders? This is how bubble games have worked throughout the country in the past.
-
I don't recall even seeing even a rumour in the press of the figures for these two, let alone an exact figure.
-
Was reported at the time as £800k rising to £1.25m (most of which will have now been met except for any promotion to Premier League payment)
-
£175k according to the Echo.
-
Upto £1.2m according to this... http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/s/southampton/7477504.stm Given he has played over 100 first team games for Saints, I think a lot of the clauses will have kicked in already. Possibly all of them bar any that were for representing France at senior level or the club reaching the Premier League.
-
No-one outside the clubs involved really has any idea how much a number of those cost. In particular Guly Do Prado, De Ridder and Cork. Dickson didn't cost £500k. It was like this... £125k upfront £25k after 10, 20, 30 and 40 appearances £25k after promotion to the Championship Most in total it will cost is £250k. Holmes was a free agent. Richardson was £450k according to Charlton. Can add Jack Stephens who cost £150k according to Plymouth's CVA.
-
That defence didn't work for Luton Town... http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/l/luton_town/7507736.stm "The club argued that the old owners were responsible and that the club should not now be punished for their mistakes, but at a hearing in London on Tuesday the FA rejected their appeal."
-
There are a number of youth keepers, Dovey, Mowthorpe and Johns. In any case the FA Cup isn't until January for Saints, and that happens to be when the transfer window opens and the loan window remains open until March.
-
Reeves is 20 Hoskins is 18 and on loan to Preston North End Ryan Doble is 20 A large number of players didn't play against Pompey because they were either on international duty or are skipping under 18 games because they are involved with the development squad. You really can't read anything into yesterday's game.
