  1. Emergency loans have nothing to do with players being injured. Anyone in the Football League can make them regardless of the health of their current squad. You are reading too much into the word "emergency". You are confusing the Football League emergency loan window, with when a team outside the window (full transfer and loan window) is allowed in the case of an injured goalkeeper to bring in a keeper on loan. For example when Man City were given dispensation to sign keeper Marton Fulop outside of the transfer window (the Premier League doesn't have a separate incoming player loan window).
  2. Did I say it did? I don't think any Celtic fan really knows what he is like. I'm looking forward to making my own mind up when I see him at St Mary's between now and January.
  3. And my contention with your point is that...
  4. He has only played 4 games at home for Celtic. Most of their fans haven't seen him play enough to warrant anything even close to a valid opinion on him as a player. Those four games saw a 9-0 win, a 4-0 win, a 2-2 draw and a 2-1 win in the Champions League against Braga who went on to be runners up in the EUROPA League.
  5. The loan window opens three days before the Forest game.

  7. I hope you are on a wind up. He was on loan at a team that made the last 16 of the Champions League in 2010/11. Most Celtic fans passing comment on him have hardly seen him play. Being out of favour at Celtic doesn't mean you are crap by default.
  8. Better or worse than signing players from Lewes? I remember your comments when Aaron Martin signed from Eastleigh.
  9. Where have you got that from? Great news if true.
  10. Similar to my website started 3 years ago... http://www.footballforumfinder.com
  11. Well the bid for Sharp wasn't far short of it.
  12. Considering Saints made a £3.25m bid for a Billy Sharp this summer, I think it is extremely unlikely Delap will still be the club's record signing at £4m in August 2016.
  13. He is cup tied.
  14. Harlee Dean isn't starting, he has Tweeted that he is on the bench. Plus I did say "similar".
  15. Win the game? Boost confidence?
  16. Sorry
  17. He signed for Evian yesterday on a 4 year deal. http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,12040_7137935,00.html End of thread really...
  18. A team similar to that beat Torquay United 4-1 in the first round.
  19. I believe his contract ends on 30th June 2012. His value is dropping the longer he goes without signing a new one. If Palace wait until January 2012 to sell him (if he doesn't look like signing a new deal), it will drop significantly.
  20. Harlee Dean isn't starting, he has tweeted that he is on the bench.
  21. He has never played for the Southampton academy. He joined the club when he was 19 years old.
  22. That is a terrible idea. Neither of them are suited for that. A specialist, ball winning, hulk of a centre back is needed, allowing Fonte to cover. If Clyne were to come, it would more likely see Butterfield leaving or further sidelined (perhaps even returning to Palace) and Clyne at right back with Richardson giving him competition and cover.
  23. Nathan is the shortened version of Nathaniel. The question "Is Nathaniel a real name?", is a bit like asking "Is Jonathan a real name?"
