Emergency loans have nothing to do with players being injured. Anyone in the Football League can make them regardless of the health of their current squad. You are reading too much into the word "emergency". You are confusing the Football League emergency loan window, with when a team outside the window (full transfer and loan window) is allowed in the case of an injured goalkeeper to bring in a keeper on loan. For example when Man City were given dispensation to sign keeper Marton Fulop outside of the transfer window (the Premier League doesn't have a separate incoming player loan window).

I hope you are on a wind up. He was on loan at a team that made the last 16 of the Champions League in 2010/11. Most Celtic fans passing comment on him have hardly seen him play. Being out of favour at Celtic doesn't mean you are crap by default.

That is a terrible idea. Neither of them are suited for that. A specialist, ball winning, hulk of a centre back is needed, allowing Fonte to cover. If Clyne were to come, it would more likely see Butterfield leaving or further sidelined (perhaps even returning to Palace) and Clyne at right back with Richardson giving him competition and cover.
