This has been raised numerous times in this thread, but do we know for sure a points deduction is possible if Redknapp/Storrie/Manadric are found guilty?
-
Not in any interview I remember seeing. Do you have a link to this interview?

Out of Contract Players - Decision Time
Matthew Le God replied to Saint Charlie's topic in The Saints
Hammond isn't a left sided player, why are you getting rid of Barnard (he isn't out of contract, just has an upcoming court case - innocent until proven guilty), Forte also isn't out of contract and was only signed in January so no chance he will be going anywhere. I like how N'Guessan has become Scottish! -
Where have you got that from? No mention of it from Saints or Oldham... http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/page/NewsDetail/0,,10280~2323576,00.html http://www.oldhamathletic.co.uk/page/NewsUpdate/0,,10337~2323535,00.html Even Dale says in his interview on the day he signed... "as far as I know it is just a loan at the moment"

Out of Contract Players - Decision Time

Exactly. Everyone is saying Gobern should go, but he has only just turned 20 and is a member of the 1st team squad and has been getting game time for Saints. Other people his age at Saints are with Martin Hunter's development squad. Ryan Doble for example hasn't played for Saints, yet he was given a new deal until the end of next season. I'd be very surprised if Oscar isn't offered a new deal. -
It hasn't been mentioned unofficially either.

40 minute video and lots of behind the scenes stuff. Saints Player really is good value for money.
-
Don't most channels and publications just switch between Southampton and Portsmouth all the time? Which to be fair makes sense.
-
Arsenal can't just pluck him for a compensation fee from us in any case. Luke signed a 3 year professional deal with Saints in December 2010.
-
Jack Stephens from Plymouth Argyle Theo Walcott from Swindon Town Adam Lallana from Bournemouth etc etc Every club does it.
-
Proof Paul Jones does it doggy style?

No chance! You don't even need to go back that far to see it beaten, just go back last season and Leeds United on four occasions in League One beat Saints attendance on Saturday (helped of course by having a larger ground), including over 38k against Bristol Rovers and 36k against Huddersfield. Then if you were to go back to the 1930's to 1970's you will find some huge attendance's even as low as the 3rd tier.

It is currently the 3rd news article on the Saints OS and has been on there since the game finished yesterday. Where have you been looking? http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/page/NewsDetail/0,,10280~2355793,00.html

I wasn't the one that suggested Scott Parker or Shay Given. Nor have I said they are anything other than fantasies never going to happen. Both will probably end up at top 10 Premier League clubs.
-
I agree with you, on the face of it all of those do seem crazy. Not impossible that Saints wouldn't target younger Premier League fringe players though. But then who would have thought Craig Bellamy would be playing for Cardiff in the Championship this season? Maybe Wayne Bridge would like to follow suit and rejoin Saints in the Championship.
-
Which players are you talking about? If they aren't getting games in the Premier League then why not? In any case, it is not unheard of for good players/managers to drop a league. Just look at Jose Fonte and Nigel Adkins.

Morgan fears Chamberlain exit
Matthew Le God replied to forever a red and white's topic in The Saints
Norwich didn't spent anywhere near £5m. Most of their transfers came from the lower leagues. Saints in the past two years have spent close to £5m on transfers/loans/agent fees/signing on fees. Now they are in a league which gives you £4m extra in TV money each year, larger attendances, more sponsorship, more solidarity payments etc etc. -

What is that based on? Certainly not this... http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/13336387.stm -
Willi Liebherr? Check his earlobes...

You are probably right. But would be good if it was Willi. -
Willi Liebherr? Check his earlobes...

If it is him, would be good if he did get involved. A multi billionaire in his own right. -
EDIT: On second thoughts it is probably Les Reed Could the man behind Cortese be Markus' brother Willi Liebherr? It is Willi and Isolade Liebherr that run this company... [video=youtube;fWGENe-GuSk]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fWGENe-GuSk If it is him, maybe he'd like to invest along with his brother's estate in Saints. Does anyone have any other photos of the directors box from Saturday?

I see where you are going.

Yes, in 1896 Saints won 18 games in a row.
