Dale Stephens Injury...What;s The Latest!?!
Matthew Le God replied to dannysfc's topic in The Saints
"Adkins hopeful both Adam Lallana and Dale Stephens will be available for this weekend, but won't risk rushing them back too soon" plus... "Adkins also says that Morgan Schneiderlin has joined in light training sessions and is currently ahead of schedule for his return" -
Have you read the comments in this thread about possible reasons for the "debt"? It is not "a bit more" TV money in the Championship compared to League One. It is roughly £4m more, plus you also get a lot more in the way of solidarity payments, sponsorship money, advertising money, more away fans at St Mary's, more home fans at St Mary's etc etc.

So what about this? 1985 to 1987...
-
That is no reason for it to remain that way indefinitely. Pretty much every team in England has made significant changes to its kits over the years (in most cases on numerous occasions).
-
Well that isn't true. What about the entire 1980's? Which had many fans favourite Saints kit i.e. the Air Florida one.

http://www.talksport.co.uk/radio/listen-again/episode/27153 Interview starts 19 minutes into the 14:30 - 15:00 clip. Conversation moves onto Saints (very briefly) at 28 minutes.
-
Unlikely as they are currently 9 points adrift, with 7 games left and a decimated squad. I expect Saints will be playing a relegated team at Home Park.
-
So were Saints, not Saints before 1950? They didn't wear black shorts until 1950. That is 65 years out of 125 years - over 50% of the clubs history without black shorts.

28 points/1

What if Saints went into the Walsall game 3 points ahead of Huddersfield and with a superior goal difference. Then it wouldn't be a nervous occasion, and promotion would be claimed in front of 32,000 people. Best of both worlds.
-
Why is that better than doing it in front of our home support?
-
"Come on you Saints" Would be the best option.
-
We aren't chasing Peterborough, Saints have more points and two games in hand on them. Thus I would prefer a Peterborough win on Saturday. Second best option, a draw. Even the last option of a Huddersfield win isn't disastrous, as it has the benefit of turning a three horse race into a two horse race.
-
Even if we hadn't had rain they would have had the sprinklers on anyway just before kick off to make it zippy.
-
Why six point minimum from the games in hand? You are only 5 points ahead and Saints have a superior goal difference of +11.
-
By the time the next home game vs Bristol comes around it will be a Saturday and Saints could well already be in 2nd place. I think that will draw a crowd even without ticket deals. After that there are only two more home games, both of which are afternoon kickoffs and in particular the final game against Walsall will draw a big crowd.

He was playing in midfield for the first team. The Huddersfield vs Plymouth game was one where Plymouth went down to 9 men eventually (10 men after 9 minutes). It is not surprising you would take off a 16/17 year old when a man down away to Hudderfield at half time.
-
You can watch him play a number of times using Player. He is right footed.

No, they aren't Clarky. They said undisclosed.
