When they cut to a different view how man nano seconds does it take you to realise we are NOT the team in the RW stripes? The ball fizzed across the goal earlier and the RW man was closing in, out of my chair till I realised it was a chance to them....
-
Lee has always had good pace and movement, we never had anybody that could use it.
-
Solid start from Cork, very mobile player.
-
This works great, logged on just in time to see Fox 15 yds out of position and their RW get a dangerous ball in. Plus ca change.

Great news that Lallana has travelled. For someone with his history, and for someone that was regularly being subbed on 70 mins, his 'numbers' must be really good at the moment. A key player for us this season so hopefully he won't get on tonight .

Mike Channon Eric Martin Chris Nicholl Ron Davies .............. None We haven't had many Irish players down the years have we? Who was the last decent Scot we had? Probably Telfer, but who before that?

1-1 and pens still looks on.

Two players for every position - the cups are where the reserves/squad players get their competitive football nowadays. I wouldn't be taking any of the first team starters away midweek where we don't need to. KD CC JOS/YOSHI FOX JACK / DAVIS ISGROVE RAMIREZ GULLY (LEE) OSVALDO Not the worse side in the world, Sunderland have loads of players that GP will want to look at, and suspensions too, so they won't be full strength either. 1-1 and pens anybody?

To win the Capital cup: we need to beat Sunderland away, Chelsea home, a two legged semi v (probably) Man C or Man U or Spurs, followed by a final (probably) against one of those three ... 2 games, plus a two-leg semi, plus a final, no obvious easy game in there, 16/1 with PP to come through those 5 games. To win the FA Cup we need to win 4 games, plus a knock-out semi and a final. Draw currently unseen but will include a smattering of lower league and non-league sides in rounds 3 and 4 (and on recent form on into round 5, and 6), PP will give you 33-1 about us winning 6 games and the FA Cup. Are we twice as likely to win the League Cup as the FA Cup?

Not sure where (or why?) you are feeling 'hand pressure'? Not generally an issue in my experience, I usually wear padded mitts but I am equally comfortable without them. After a long ride I can get tired across the shoulders or perhaps an aching lower back but I've never had problems with my hands/arms per se. Did you get the bike set-up when you collected it? I'm guessing your at least averagely fit core-wise so your hands shouldn't be taking any 'pressure'. Perhaps your bike is a fraction too long? (And it will only be a fraction, try moving the saddle forward ever so slightly)???? If it's further out than that perhaps a shorter stem would give you a better riding position? Sounds like you are getting into it, impressed with your schedule.

4 teams need to pass us for us to finish 10th, 6 teams for us to finish 12th. Utd and Everton ought to pass us, not sure who else might at this stage? If we can stay fit, fresh and injury free, and we can add one or two in Jan we have every chance of staying 6th-7th-8th.

'Interesting', I saw it on a stream and it looked stonewall.

Just back from four days in Mallorca, a real 'must do' for all us Tour wannabe's. 60km constant up and down on Monday, full sun and a really hot day. Family day in Palma on Tuesday. Wednesday 85km, on the flat then up the mountains to 700m and a long downhill too. Warm and dry but monstrous headwinds for the last 30km. Thursday, took the bikes in the van to the top of Sa Colabra (Google it), unfortunately the olds bottled it but my nipper smashed it in one hit in 45 minutes, then we all rode 60km together back to base. Mallorca really is a top cycling destination if you get a chance. We have entered the Kentish Killer again (the short route, that was tough enough last year and apparently it has been up-toughened for this season). Anybody that wants some early season Saints-chat biking we would love to see you down here in February, we are a group of 6 very social cakes-and-beer cyclists. 3 Saints fans, not looking to break any records, just looking to get round! http://kentishkiller.ning.com/

Even though all tickets always have a small-print, catch-all condition which says something like: 'fixture subject to change ..... non-refundable' etc ? -

Would think players and management would be aiming higher than this? When did we last have back-to-back defeats?

like a championship game (but with two worldies thrown in, first fulham goal sensational)
-
My bad, makes sense now. How many teams have a better avg all-time finish than us? I'll go for 28.
-
7 teams above Arsenal? Lpool? Everton ? ManU ,,,, unlikely Who else?
-
Nutshell.

I skim read this last night - v interesting/chilling. All allegedly of course and nothing there in itself which says she might have not been abducted, but.... Everyone has to make up their own mind, they never rang true with me from day one and I've not seen anything since to make me change my mind. Meaningless media stat of the week for what it's worth and a I have no way of verifying if it is true or not, apparently there are 30 plod working on the Saville case and 37 working on this, go figure.
-
Not sure, but by all reports their pies are a lot better than ours.
-
They've missed off Alan Hansen, surely shome mishtake? I would have liked to have seen Sir Dave Brailsford on there for some badly needed out-of-the-box type thinking.

Ticket Details: Sunderland Away - League Cup

How about I bung you 40 quid and take care of the copulation? You won't need to buy her flowers (guaranteed) and you and the nipper have 80 quid for a boys night out in Sunderland. Win / win and she will probably get you a little something for when you get home. -

How low's low? Two PL teams Home draw, 2 rounds away from a semi-final Reasonably attractive oppo (us!) Half term, adults 15, kids 5, footy hotbed Winnable game (s******) for their new manager Reckon they will get 20k easily. Would make sense for them to house our massive downstairs and mothball the upstairs for the evening.
