I heard from someone who contracts to SFC and he and other suppliers were paid OK, a bit late but nonetheless, paid. I can only think that SFC honoured their debts (still solvent) but SLH PLC didn't.

Good appointment was dreading Adams coming here. The new owners won't want to be coming to watch an average team, they will want to bring their corporate clients/friends and make sure they watch good football and I can see some good players signing for us. Exciting times ahead I reckon. Hopefully a great atmosphere tomorrow. coyr

How many extra season tickets would sell if WGS became manager, more than enough to pay his wages I would think.

It's not over until the fat lady sings (is that politically correct?), then I may eat some humble pie.

I'm still convinced that Pinnacle will be out and Jackson is there ready to pounce, agree the -10 and we will be OK by Tuesday. Whatever happens, I think the 30th is the final day because of wages and end of contractural agreements
-
I still have a firm belief that the Pinnacle deal is dead and that the Jackson lot will be in early next week. If that is the only option to save the club then like it or loathe it, he will be the saviour (for now). Pinnacle just don't stack up anymore after the farce of the past few days and sadly I think MLT has been hoodwinked.
-
I have no doubts, after a social event tonight, that the Jackson consortium will win very soon.
-
I would put money on Jim Ratcliffe.
-
I'm relying on the integrity of MLT and whoever/whatever is involved in fulfilling our football commitments gets my full support. Beggars can't be choosers, the new owners have the right to choose who they want for a management team and I just want to get my season ticket ready for the Millwall game. Bring it on.

Rumour I heard was that a major problem has been uncovered, hope its wrong. As someone said previously, should be totally clear as a PLC.
-
Agree, he appears to be sacrificing a good TV career for us. Can't believe how the tide is turning, just hope we get a good healthy support, good gates will be important for our future and to counteract the other big teams in this division, Norwich, Leeds and Charlton for starters.

Just a thought, if the new investor has settled the debt, does that mean it will be like a family paying off the mortgage and all the income can be spent elsewhere. The match income can then be spent on the clubs' progress rather than paying back loans and interest. So, say for a £15m payment the season ticket money can go to finance the wages of above average players for the 3rd tier (still cant call it league 1, will always be 3rd division).
-
whoever he is, we must support him and give our full backing,
-
Totally agree.

The way I see things is that there is no choice, whoever satisfies the adminstrator wins, not like selling voluntarily when a buyer can be selected.
-
In reality he won't get 6 months providing he is not charged with perverting the course of justice like insisting he wasn't driving and the car was stolen. Best take it on the chin, get his ban and do a rehab course.

Instant cash available when season ticket sales start.

I'm not going, don't appeal to me at all. I've been to games since the old 3rd division and want us to survive but basically it is a bankrupt business that has been operated by inept Chairmen and Directors. Can't see that RL made all the decisions single handed, the various boards must have voted with him. All businesses are having a tough time (except administrators!!!!!!!) at the moment and its the survival of the fittest whether a football club or a barber. Anyone wanting to put money into a football club must be have it to burn so as far as Saints are concerned I'm afraid beggars can't be choosers, we will have to accept a saviour whoever they may be.

Need someone who knows the lower leagues and can use the loan system with plenty of contacts. Look what Gary Johnson has done and the like of Pulis some of the better known names have not achieved anything near people like these.
-
How many administrators running the club and at how much an hour each. They are only doing it as a very well paid job.
-
If, as a lot of people are suggesting, we go out of business in 8 days then surely all players would become free agents and we wouldn't even get 5p for him.
-
Surely a loan/mortgage only becomes a debt when repayments are in arrears, would be surprised if full amount became due "on demand" unless no money has been paid to Aviva for a considerable time. I agree that the bank overdraft has been the problem with them calling some of it in that we couldn't do, had this been the case before the transfer window then surely we could have had a fire sale of say, Surman/Davis/Lallana so we could keep afloat. Also, surely Lowe and Wilde didn't make all the decisions without the rest of the board's backing.

Where Will the Creditors Get Their Money From?
Pedro replied to Guided Missile's topic in The Saints
The FL will have to make a decision based on facts whether we are naturally relegated or not as other clubs in financial difficulty will be watching very closely. -
Stayaway fans have cost us big time.

Come on Northam, give him a chant, I've missed having a manager wave in response, would give everyone an extra lift especially as the attendances are rising. As long as the team don't **** it up again in front of a big crowd.
